In the past year the place has really gone downhill. The shop is still really nice to visit, the location is convenient, but the folks that work there are really clueless. These days they cant answer the most basic questions about what they serve, the coffee isnt so great and the espresso drinks on the skids. If theres someplace you rather go, I suggest you do. A year ago heres what I said.... Heres what you need to know: The lattes, whether hot or iced, are amazing. The coffee is amazing. Everything they put in a cup is amazing. The Assembly has to be one of LAs best coffee shops. Drop microphone, walk away.

Great tasting cappuccino and cold brew. The atmosphere is very calming and quiet. There is also a shelf with designer gift items and stationery - although they are a bit pricey.

Friendly people, good coffee and great pastries. Sit inside or on their private patio. Sleek design, with some neat stationary to buy, too.
