Groundwork out-performs all main stream coffee retailers in the categories of quality, consistency, variety, service, and atmosphere. They offer an impressive selection of organic, fair trade coffee and tea, all of which possess a certain velvety quality that I would choose to call melodic because it seems to transcend flavor, aroma, and texture as qualifiers. Their staff is always friendly and genuine, and you can bet youll hear them playing groovy music or thought provoking talk radio when you enter their neatly kept store front. If youre feeling burnt out on burnt out coffee and minced dry pre-bagged tea leaves, or just want an outstanding experience at a REAL coffee shop, then please visit one of Groundworks six Los Angeles locations as soon as is humanly possible.

This coffee shop is THE mother of hipsters! The coffee is good and the mocha was actually really good. They brew and prepare each order to as they receive it. They also offer a few pastries and souvenirs. The place is spacious with several seats and tables in the patio area and inside. Id come back here again only if Im in the area but wouldnt go out if my way.

Were on holiday here for 2 weeks, this is our go to coffee shop, we owned a coffee shop for a few years and these guys do it right. Its small and quaint but the coffee is great and thats the main thing.
