The place itself is very nice. The staff working there is very nice. It is a bit expensive though. They do not serve full sandwiches, instead they are open-faced. I ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich and it amounted to about a half a sandwhich woth no sides whatsoever. At 16 bucks (with tip)... it was the most expensive half sandwich Ive ever eaten. If it was stacked up with ingredients, I probably would have not written anything. Instead though, there was only lite turkey and thin pieces of avocado. This place is very nice, quaint, and probably an excellent place to sit and work on something while drinking a latte and having a scone. But, if you are actually hungry, I do not feel it is a very good value.

I go here quite a bit with my best friend every time I visit LA, and i used to go there quite a bit when I lived in LA. I love their food, but I would say that the service is very hit and miss. Sometimes you get a waiter who just cant be bothered with you, as if waving to them to ask for a refill or etc is not in their job description. Ummm?!?! Anyway, maybe the next time I go, the next waiter will change my mind.....

Been coming here for years. Great organic cafe/breakfast/lunch. If you dont like people with their dogs/kids, dont come here. The management could be better. Much better. But theyre hands are tied. Le Pain Corp too much about making some comfortable while making others not so much. Food inconsistent at times.

How had I been to Urth Cafe dozens of times and never stopped in here. Great food that is organic and locally sourced. Ill be back many times. Unlike Urth they offer wifi and a large shaded porch that isnt directly across the street from the Restoration Hardware construction.

This location is cool because its around melrose which is a peaceful hip shopping district and their is no traffic noise. I went with my wife and got served by Jay B who was on point with service and attentive to our needs without asking anything. I will go back there again.

Quaint French cafe. Had the Cobb Salad, fresh, filling, and surprisingly delicious variety of tastes. The carafe of Green Tea balanced well with the salad, being slightly sweet and slightly bitter as Green Tea can be. The rustic bread was dangerous, wanted more and more.

This is the only location I will go to. It has the best atmosphere. Service at all of them is lacking. Worst service was Santa Monica location. Here the service is hit or miss, but the staff is nice, just really overwhelmed. They need more servers on weekends.

Great spot to chill and get some comfort food. The place has a good vibe, outside sitting, the interior is nice, friendly staff and its the open till 8 PM; later than any Le Pain Quotidien in the area.
