If I could click lower than one I would. Dont waste your time or money here! The food was terrible and the service was just as bad. I started with minestrone soup. The vegetables were clearly not fresh and were prepackaged frozen veggies. I did not eat even half of it. The waiter never asked if it was okay. At the recommendation of the waiter I ordered the lasagne. After an extremely long wait; enough time in fact for two servings of bread to be eaten, and the thought of leaving crossing our minds, the meal and my lasagne was finally served. It had been so over cooked the pasta was soft and mushy. Had the sauce not been over seasoned with salt it would have been completely bland. As for the fresh parmesan cheese? It was worse than Kraft dehydrated powdered cheese. Fresh parmesan is grated, not a powder! I ordered a glass of wine with my meal. It never showed up and neither did the waiter to check on us. I informed another server on the wait staff, the wine was still not served nor were drinks ever refilled. Extremely disappointed to have such an awful meal in an area full of great restaurants.

As soon as the first bite passed my lips, I was hooked. I always order to go, but the food is so good, I can never make it the 10 blocks home without completely devouring at least one thing in the bag. The sweet owner is too young to be someones doting Romanian mom, but you can tell how much love and care she puts into the food. Shes just radiant with proud mom-mess. I call ahead cause I figure she has to roll out the dough or whatever. Seriously, its that homemade. Everything that Ive had is healthy, nourishing, fresh. And so affordable...so affordable.

I felt like I was back in Italy! The service was very attentive, Old World style, which I miss a lot these days, having eaten in 4 and 5 star restaurants all over the world. This restaurant knows how to serve! The food was amazing! The atmosphere was also very charming, taking us away from the bustle of L.A. I would recommend it. I had the amazing lobster ravioli. The only thing I missed was warm garlic bread on the table. I would still definitely go back. Delizioso!!!!

Been a frequent client here since the early 90s, took a long break being away and went back a couple of times in the past few months. Im sure cooks and recipes have been updated over the years, but they still have the best Calamari and the Shrimp Salad. Hand-tossed Alfredo Fettucine could not be better, though slightly on the salty side. Service is hit or a miss, esp. compared to the old days, but seating is nice, inside or street-side patio.

Used to eat here all the time and loved it. Ive heard it went downhill but unfortunately experienced that myself....food poisoning from the linguine with clam sauce on Saturday night. When I was finally able to, I called and left a message for the manager to let the, know how sick they made me. So far, shes not bothered calling back.

Ended up here Friday night by default. Id heard good things and always had been curious to try it. Unfortunately its a typical sub-par tourist trap on the Strip. The service was great--very attentive. But the food was just okay, and the "wine list" was straight off the shelves of Ralphs. And way overpriced. Dont bother!

While spending a few days in LA, my husband and I dined at Cafe Med twice. The reason we ended up going back is because we were in the mood for pizza. We ended up having Rustico and it was EXCELLENT! Great service and fabulous location - whats not to love?? Cant wait to return. Bang for the buck: 9 out of 10.

Were vegetarians and found both the hand made pappardelle and the spinach ravioli entrees exceptionally good. Service I cant really comment on as we were there on Christmas night and every seat in the restaurant was occupied.

Service was a little slow but the food was great. Chicken Milanese had great flavor but wish there was a sauce to go with it. Also the spinach is amazing here, sauteed with garlic cloves makes it that much more flavorful.

This place is just as amazing as it can possibly be. The food is impeccable, the staff is hiper friendly and has amazing desserts. How could it be better? Starting to feel as this is my favorite place in CA!!

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. The old standbys are present, but so are several fantastic Northern Italian specialties. Decent wine list, and very attentive service. Highly recommend the carbonara.

My wife and I love sitting on the patio here. They have excellent pasta and salads paired with a reasonable wine list. Great for a leisurely weekend lunch before a movie.
