Honestly, I prefer the original location on Callan Blvd where the space was larger and parking wasnt a hassle. There are more customers than tables and seats, which knocks off one star. This location is not that clean either, unless you ask kuya to clear the table. Its more cramped and their cooked food doesnt taste as good as it used to. Goldilocks could also improve on service too because when the line is short, the servers rush you to make your selection and since most of the patrons are Filipino who speak Tagalog, its easier to communicate. If you dont speak Tagalog, the servers also speak English. Ive noticed that the only food item that tastes fantastic here are their pastries and cakes. Everything else either lacks or is excessive in flavor. When I tried the chicken adobo, there was too much soy sauce. You could even mistaken it for diniguan because of the color. The diniguan also tasted too sour and the server gave more tripe and fat than actual meat. Food is a bit overpriced for lack/excess taste and parking is a hassle.

It is sad to see a Filipino institution, direct from the Philippines to completely loose all its luster, and end-up with such a badly tarnished reputation. This IS NOT how this restaurant used to be. I went there this Sunday evening with my wife and was badly disappointed with the lack of selection. It was as if the food were leftovers for the day, and even though it was dinner service, the restaurant had no intention of making new food. Very disappointing. With all the competition from other filipino restaurants that have newly sprung-up and is clearly taking all their customers away, you would think they would try just a little bit harder. With an economy as hard as todays, it is not merely enough to lay dead and wait for the vultures, ya know?

I went in and they greeted me right away and even helped me pick out what to eat since i told them i had never had this kind of food before. They helped with sweetness and spicy and didnt try to sell me the most expensive things. The lay out was clean and the ladys and man who were working were also helping other people. It was one of the better experiences I have had in a while at a bakery. Im happy i ignored the bad reviews from years ago. The reviewer must have been grumpy or the place has done a complete recovery.

you know whats frustrating? ive been noticing that restaurants nowadays, in order to survive (and i really do realize how hard it is to compete nowadays), cut corners. like goldilocks style is to have food in warming trays, ready to serve, ya? well, how come even the rice tastes as if its at least a day old? whats the deal? how about a little attention to detail? how about some pride in what you serve? this place used to be much better. i just hope they really do try harder. im very disappointed.

One word to describe this "Resturaunt" : INCONSISTENT! I recently tried Goldilocks, I was very eager due to a somewhat positive review from a cousin. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was AWFUL, the place wasnt crowded at all and it seemed like I couldnt get any employees attention. I was still nonetheless, curious to try the LUMPIA. AND IT WAS BURNED! I guess its a hit or miss with this place.

Ive had their cakes before, but the mocha roll I got was lacking something. It was good, but something was missing. You have to love buttercream to like their cakes. I was surprised to see that they were serving hot food. I didnt have any of the hot food since we got dinner next door. The place wasnt very busy at 7pm on a Sunday night.

I stumbled into this location when I was looking for Seafood City and got lost. The staff is friendly and they have a nice low cost lunch selection. I was even offered soup broth free. They also have a nice selection of Filipino delicacies.

Visiting there several times. Busy at lunch time. This store sells cake for birthday/wedding/etc,philipines styled breads, also sell hot foods that you can choose with or without steamed rice. Located next to pacific market.

This place reminds me of the Philippines. There are plenty of delicious Filipino dishes and desserts. Parking can be busy in the evenings and weekends, but worth going to. Great place fo lunch and dinner with the family.
