I previously had a raving review for this place, but lately they have been getting my orders wrong. If they had forgotten one thing, I would understand, but when I ask for refried beans, cheese, guac, salsa and rice, I dont think a whole bean and rice burrito is acceptable. It was very dry, and I had ordered take out, and could not go back to have it replaced. Massive waste of 8.50. Also, even though I always order the same thing, the price will often vary by as much as 3.50, which is confusing. When they get my order right, the food is great, but theyve now messed up enough times that I will never be coming back.

We were having a 50th birthday party for my step mom that they were supposed to cater to. They signed a contract, we deposited a check and everything but when it came to the day of the party, 10 minutes before their Taco Truck was supposed to be there, my step mom gets a call saying, they wont be making it. After lies about the other truck coming, we ask if we can just send someone to pick up the food, but they say no. Thank god for Marys Pizza or we wouldve had 120 hungry people with no food to feed them. My dad shook the mans hand, shook his damn hand, yet they did all of this. Dont let them cater your party.

Bad service. Hostess took us to a dirty table had to stand there waiting for her to clean the table. Waited 20 minutes for drinks coffee and an iced tea. Gave our order and 4 other tables that came in after us were served. Waiting and waiting no food. Finally after we finished all the chips and salsa and 45 minutes later I asked the server Marisela about our food . We got our shrimp cocktail after our cold enchiladas. Never once did we get offered a refill on our empty dinks. BAD SERVICE never again.

This place is a definite gem. We were driving back to Santa Rosa from the coast and looked up dinner spots along the way. Based on the reviews we stopped here. The food is amazing! Order the guacamole. Its made right at the table in front of you. The chimichangas and salads were perfect. Tasty and filling and the portions are huge. The mojitos and horchata are refreshing. Wish we lived in the area so we could come back weekly.

I love this restaurant!! Its my all time favorite place to go for Mexican food!! Im unable to go often so each time I go is a wonderful treat for myself!! Keep making your food so wonderful and delicious!! One time I went and my best friend was blown away by how good the food was!! I made a lover out of her and she has been back multiple times too!! (Shes the picky one!!)

This place rocks! We are headed there now to meet my beaus old landlord and I cannot wait for that little green salsa, superior guac, and chicken Mole! Mmm Mmm Mmm! Great everything, service, atmosphere, and most importantly GREAT FOOD! Will always recommend El Coronel!

From the moment we walked in we were treated to the wonderful, artful and warm decor, friendly staff and delicious food. The salsa chips were the best Ive tasted in years! My dish was perfectly prepared. I look forward to returning!

We love this place- food is great - the only thing wrong is the service is slow. They take their time before they take your order and that is unfortunate as the food selection and quaily is supurb.
