My family orders from here all the time for years, every time I ask for NO BEANS because Im allergic, and yet they add beans to anything I order, I specifically say over the phone when I am ordering to say "NO BEANS", 2 or 3 times. The customer service is just horrible over the last year, I cant recommend eating here anymore to anyone, specifically if you have a food allergy, either they cant understand the words no beans or they are intentionally adding them in.

The food is really good, as is the horchata. However: If you choose to order anything that is even slightly different from what is on the menu, be clear on each ingredient you want, as well as those you dont want. Make sure to communicate clearly, because their failure rate is over 50% when getting an order right. They are also a bit over-priced, which is to be expected for the amount of high-quality organic stuff they use.

Best Mexican food in the area, hands down. In my opinion, its the best food in Sebastopol. You get what you pay for, period. Fresh ingredients, incredible flavors, all the while remaining authentic and original. Great service, and hospitality. All in all, this is my favorite place around. Im here all the time! Support folks making great food who truly care about the food they cook.

While this long time sebastopol institute has been a local favorite for tasty Mexican fare, they have recently added a Mediterranean flavor. I tried the beef kabob tonight and wasnt disappointed. Spicy seasoning in a pair of beef patties went well with the yogurt sauce.. Basmati rice and salad rounded out the meal nicely.

Viva Mexicana has great coffee, great breakfast burritos, great salsa, great huevos rancheros, and most important to my husband -- great carnitas and al pastor. We make it a point to go there whenever we pass through Sebastopol, any time of day.

This place is AMAZING!!! If you are like me and you can eat Mexican food everyday of the week, this will be your new hangout spot! The burritos are packed with flavor and never disappoint. If you havent tried this place go get a burrito today!

Oh yum! the carnitas are done right... slow cooked and crunchy, Ive never had it traditional like this, how could I eat it any other way!?. And the sweet corn tamale. Oh yeah! Plus they have grass fed and organic here too. What a place!

Great burritos but at almost $10 a burrito youd think they would kick down a more than 1 tiny bag of chips for 3 burritos. Next time we went we got 3 burritos and a half of a tiny bag of chips. WTH?
