DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR TIPS!! Last week my husband and I decided to visit Santa Cruz for the day. After enjoying a fun filled day we Yelped a few places and agreed to enjoy some pizza and burgers. The lady at the table told us there was little to no wait, 20 minutes later we were seated. It took our server another 15 minutes to get to our table to take our drink order. "Chris", finally made it to our table and we ordered our drink, appetizer and meals. We kept seeing her walk around and chatting with her employees and another waitress brought us 2 drinks that werent ours. Our drinks and appetizer came out together. When our meal came out, I asked her for another beer and she asked me, "are you sure?". I dont think her question was necessary. After we finished, our bill came. We ordered 4 beers but were charged for 6. The manager changed it. I can count on one hand how many times Ive not left a tip, this was one of them. I put a big goose egg on the tip portion, wrote the total, signed it and snapped a picture for my record. Today I checked my transactions for the week and noticed that the waitress decided to give herself a $6.00 tip that she didnt deserve. I called the resturant and the lady who answered told me there was no manager on duty. I explained the situation and told her I wanted a full refund. She told me Ill get my $6 back and asked for my card #. I laughed and told her no because the already stole money from me so she can take the extra time and look up the transaction. I did tell her that it was bullshit that they think it is okay to do this and that I would like a manager to speak to and she said no and hung up. She answered the phone the 2nd time I called and she said she didnt have time to talk to me because I was being abusive. I asked when the manager was going to be on duty and she said she was there but did not want to speak to me. Seriously? How unprofessional can this place get??? All I can say is if this happens to you, call your bank to dispute the situation and they will work with you. If anyone has any information of a corporate office or anything of the sort, let me know! Hope this helps someone else from being a victim of their scams.

I was warned about the service and I should have listened! If you dont mind standing around watching 2 or 3 waitresses gossip and text then you have a good 30 minute wait. While standing you can stare at the dirty tables stacked with dishes or simply watch as people walk away tired of waiting. It appears to be a very busy place, but its deceiving due to the fact its such a small place. Even when there not so busy, their in no hurry to seat you. Waitresses absolutely could care less!!!The best part is when I was finally seated at a dirty table! Waited another 20 minutes for a nicely burnt pizza (Hammer and chisel not included) and a coke with no ice. Of course I complained and the waitress said its on her. LOL! Are you serious? A week later I thought "Ok, lets try this again". Wasnt so busy yet again I counted 4 tables outside dirty and loaded with dished. I asked to sit outside and the waitress looked around with a confused look and said It will be 10 minutes. I said Ill just sit at that one open clean table and she said "I cant seat you at a family table". There was no line of people waiting, much less a family waiting. Clearly this place doesnt care at all about customers. Very poorly run business and certainly plenty of bad reviews that reflect that!

Visited the place on Fathers day, was in the mood for pizza.. Asked to see the menu, looked good so we sat down to eat as directed by the greeters. After waiting 10 minutes no one came to wait on us, people entered they slammed 2 tables together and took that families orders before us. They even cleaned a table outside before even waiting us. Asked to speak to the manager, stated we never got waited on to them (after another 5 minutes passed by). Manager stated theyd fix it. Wait 5 minutes, someone comes to the table (who we thought would be the waiter and asks us what they can do, state we still havent been served (been asked what we wanted to drink..) got the reply that our waiter would be coming soon. Walked out, ridiculous. Too long didnt read; Took the order of people who entered after us before even asking us what wed like. Ditsy staff/greeters x3 dont communicate with the 2 waiters instead just sit there looking dumb, even the manager didnt come ask us what we wanted, totally unprofessional and Ill be telling everyone of my colleagues to not patron them. Family run? Yeah... Right... Deserves 0 stars for what just happened.

I hadnt been to Santa Cruz since 2011, I was happy to be back until I sat at this place. The food wasnt that great I had the pulled pork and the waitress said that was a great choice. When I received it what seemed hours later the meat had no flavor and the coleslaw on it seemed just like dry salad. Had a margarita w/hornitos tequiIa and it was tasted flavorless. I ordered a basket of fries and never got it. We ordered another basket of cheese fries and they were slightly over cooked and our friends basket of fries seem soggy and under cooked. The jalapeno burger meat was flavorless and the slice pizza is thinner than a NY style slice. What made it worse they added 18% gratuity to our check for 4 adults the total was outrageous. We asked to have it split and they still added 18% gratuity to each check. First impressions are important the atmosphere looks nice and inviting but bad food and service leaves a lasting impression I will not be eating here ever again.

We visited Santa Cruz late in the day from San Francisco on a Friday. After the concert and the kids getting on the rides we decided to find a place to eat away from the board walk as it can be pricy to eat their and the food is just okay. We werent sure where to go and decided just to stop on by and give this pizza place a try. When we showed up it wasnt very busy so we got seating right away and the waitress took our orders promptly. We ordered a large pizza and a turkey club with fries. We were very happy with the portions and the food tasted great. We were actually very surprised how good the pizza tasted. I decided to check and give my review and cant believe how many bad reviews I see. I dont know if the time has anything to do with how service is and the quality of the food but my family and I had a much different experience than most I have read. I will eat here again and hope I get the same great experience.

We go here often and the pizza is great though I havent always been impressed with the waiting staff. I get its Santa Cruz but I wish some of the women who work here would cover up more. We have been here a few times when they are wearing very inappropriate clothing. "why are her butt checks showing" is not a question I enjoyed being asked at dinner by my 7 year old daughter. Not everyone has given us bad service but this last time I was there with my boyfriend I felt extremely unwelcome by the three girls chit chatting at the greeting desk. We were treated as if we were an inconvience to them by simply mentioning we wanted a table for two. No one informed the waitress we were there so I was left to flag her down. Luckily she was very friendly and made sure we were attended to but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the hostesses and distasteful clothing they were wearing yet again.
