Be very careful if you have a food allergy and eat here. I ate here, for the 1st and only time, on July 26, 2010. I KNOW i am allergic to shellfish, so nobody at my table ordered any. Regardless 4 hours later i had to jam an Epipen in my thigh and rush to the hosptial...severe allergic reaction. Restaurant and insurance company both claim "not liable" Really? I have ONE known allergy (am 44 not a child who doesnt know any better) and ate nothing else and nowhere else that day. hmmmm...... I wouldnt let my dog eat here, let alone any family or friends. If they dont take the basics seriously, God only knows what else is going on. Mateos Mom (logged in using his account)

A friend of mine recommended this place to me hailing that it was the best mexican restaurant in the Santa Clarita Area.. Being from San Diego, living in the greater LA area, I am dying to find a good mexican restaurant that meets my expectations. Sadly this place does NOT.. Salsa was bland, toritillas were okay and my enchiladas were overall something Id expect from a Mexican Restaurant from when I lived In Washington State. Just lacking in flavor.Overall the place was Just OK.. Wouldnt recommend to someone that actually knows good mexican food.

Well me and my girlfriend went there a few days ago and received horrible service. Our waiter was never around. Infact I had to ask a bus boy to get him. In addition when it came time to pay we gave him our card and proceeded to watch him for the next 20 min count up his tips and get cashed out. We watched him do this and when I approached him he said he had a problem with our card but then it magically went through. The service at this location is a joke. Do not go!! The other location in Canyon Country is much better

El Faro.. weve had way too many memories. Many late nights and food affairs. After a fun night of bar hopping in the mission, where else would I end up but here?! I love this place.Their burritos and so simple yet so delicious!Their meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection. The lines do get long but it moves quickly.4 star off cuss my friend doesnt eat meat and found some remnants of meat in her shrimp burrito. The ended up getting really sick.

Service, food, and drinks at La Co is outstanding! The Miguels, Phili, and Armando make it a point to know you and welcome you every time you walk in the door. Their michiladas are the best and their margaritas wont disappoint. Good luck finding food and service as like this anywhere. As for the the the comment Peter posted on March 2nd, authentic carnitas are deep friend (not boiled). Oh yeah, who calls themselves, "Latin?"

I am not a big Mexican food eater. I ordered Pollo Tostada , because I was familiar with what was in it. When it came to the table I didnt think it was mine, lol. It was awesome, my wife thought her meal was excellent as well. We didnt have to wait for a table, the service was fast and friendly. (They could make it cooler in there, only minor complaint). All around an excellent experience, highly recommended!

Reading the other review, I will say I am hispanic grew up in LA know what real Mexican food taste like. La Cocina is the best Ive had out here and the closest to Don Antonios off Pico! They have great service and have always had good food when we have gone. I would highly recommend it over Don Cucos which is definately overpriced and not good. They have excellent Cadillac Margaritas too!

Ill be honest - I laughed at the name of this place and came in with no expectations (give me some slack guys, its literally "The Kitchen Bar & Grill" lol)- but turns out the place was good! Had a friendly server with quick service and decent food so its a good place to go for lunch. Also if you are in the mood for drinks their mango margarita tasted pretty good!

Terrible, Terrible food. The food is not cleaned. The meat has a bad smell. Pork has to be washed. The carnitas is fried, not boiled. The smell and the taste of all their food is poor, quality is terrible, the taste, none. Ive eaten in many restaurants, i dont know what this is, try yourself. Im latin and i know about flavor, nassssttttyyyy, sorry.

Very authentic food, but crowded, crowded & oh ya crowded. The dining area is so small you feel like your eating with 25 other people. A little more spicy than I like it, but still good. Good to get To Go, except oh ya, you cant find parking in the tiny parking lot and you just about hit every other car since its so tight.

Booked a reservation twice, confirmed even, and was told that the tables werent available when I got there. Perhaps these two experiences have soured my pallet, but having your kids upset because they are hungry as you put them back into the car to go look for another restaurant would leave any pallet soured.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Santa Clarita Valley. Tasty food, friendly staff, always busy. Eating here since 1992; 24 Years worth of good food and pleasant dinning experience. Hopefully they will still be here 24 years from now.

I think that this is the best Mexican food restaurant in all of Santa Clarita! It beats out El Presidente and Don Cucos. Great atmosphere and great, friendly staff. I have reccommended this restaruant millions of times and will continue to do so.

Amazing food served here. Highly recommend their tacos! Their chips and salsa is also unique and to die for. Very friendly staff and it feels very homely. However, the lines here can get pretty long and the prices have recently gone up.

Have come here 3 x a year with groups of kids or teens and they are very accommodating. Will do their best to seat everyone asap. Nice outside seating area where dogs are welcome. Menu is extensive even after the 100 omelette choices.

We had dined here several times and decided to come here with friends to celebrate my birthday, the restaurant is usually packed for dinner. Being one of the finest Italian homemade food, great wine selection plus a wonderful service.

I love the enchillada vallarta, shrimp with a cream sauce but this place needs to be bigger The wait is ridiculous. More people come here to get drunk on the weekends and they need to get out of the tables so that people can eat.

Hubby and I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since we moved here a few months ago and I think we found it! A friend recommended it and we were very satisfied! LOVED the chips and salsa (salsa is spicy, though!)

Amazing Food and good quality service. I paid for four people about $70 dollars so price wise is way too cheap for the quality they offered. I definitely left with my family pretty happy about this place. Highly recommended.

Food was tasty, however this last time I went I had a carnitas burrito and got violently sick afterwards. The salsa had an effervescent taste too. I should have complained but have always had a good experience there.

Always liked this place. They need to expand, however, into their own building. For you non-Hispanics, its pronounced "la co seen a", not "la co cheen a". Ask a Hispanic what the latter means.
