We tried this place for the first time today. Service was fine, delivery when they said it would be here, prices average. The pizza quality just wasnt there at all. Tastes like cheap cheese and there wasnt very much of it. the sausage was pre-formed mcnuggets. The crust was definitely un-inspired. If you like Dominoes, this will be fine for you. There are a couple of other choices that are equal like fattes or Dominoes. I am rather fond of Pizza Solos food, too bad they dont deliver. These guys just dont care much about food. Some other places do. Some people just dont care about food, if thats you, youll be happy.

Ive been eating here forever, and have never had such bad service as I have tonight. Usually the people are nice and the food is good. With that being said, the girl on the phone seemed preoccupied and uninterested with my business. It also took her a great deal of time to get my simple order correct, impatience palpable from her end. She estimated my order to arrive in 40 minutes. 2 med pizzas with 2 toppings. It arrived 75 minutes later. The delivery guy, although friendly, did not offer an apology or explanation. So I can only assume there was no urgency to my order. It was pretty disappointing.

I would not eat here. I ordered a gyro and a spinach salad. I got my money back after watching them pull the spinach out of the bag with bare hands (the same bare hands that were covered in some kind of gook when taking my payment) and then, wait for it..... open a plastic bag of walnuts.... with their teeth. The food looked good but I like my meals without a chance of hep..... eat at your own risk.

Wanted to give this place a chance, given the mixed reviews but I was extremely disappointed. While the service was really great, the crust on the pizza was so chewy. I expect a New York Style Pizza to have a crispier crust. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the sauce on the pizza was pretty good, but not good enough to ignore the unbelievably chewy crust.

The new owners have worked a miracle with this place. It had really gone downhill over the years, but their new recipes and authentic East Coast revamp are a massive improvement. Give Pizza La Nova another chance, even if they sucked two weeks ago. The new owners have been here for a week now, and its infinitely better.

Out of all the different pizza options in San Luis Obispo Pizza Nova is absolutely LEGIT in the Los Osos Valley Road Side of the hood. Great price and never fails to give another coupon. The Pizza creates a explosive sensation of flavor in your mouth.

I recommend a pass. Jog a few blocks farther down LOVR and go to Costco for better pizza in larger slices at a lower cost.
