Ive eaten here a few times and the food was good. My experience today was awful, I will think twice before coming back. I was going with a large group and we tried to make a reservation. We were told they didnt take them. We we arrived they asked if we had one... I had a gift card. They refused to take it. The special menu for Cinco de Mayo was two extremely over priced tacos. 6$ for two of the smallest tacos ever. The worst part, which made me walk out, was they set up a loud speaker right next to our group. So loud we literally couldnt hear each other talk. I requested that it be turned down a little. The reply, "This is a bar". So rude. Just because its a holiday and a popular location doesnt mean you can treat people so badly.

This place is rally expensive, but that is expected when you are in Santana Row. The place has the image of a Mexican "tequila" joint but we went with a few friends, and we ordered their long island iced teas. The drinks were surprisingly good and poured nice and strong. the atmosphere can be a little loud at night. so if you want to wind down and have a drink after a long day of work, this may not be the best place. Too bad, because the out-doorsy atmosphere lends itself to relaxed unwinding. HOWEVER ... if you want to end your Friday with a bang, this is the place to go. Yes, you wont get much of a conversation, but its pretty fun.

Id seen a ridiculously long line to get into this place on several occasions so naturally I thought it was one of the best places to go on Santana Row. My husband and I tried it out finally and we were disappointed. He is from Jalisco, Mexico, the home of tequila, and this is a tequila bar. We were expecting authentic drinks, food, and music. We came in late, but once we were a couple drinks in and ready to dance, the band packed up and left-over an hour before they closed. The tacos we had were nothing special. The service was good and the live music was good while it lasted.

One star for outdoor seating and music. Our waitress, who was either extremely inexperienced or had enough money not to care about servicing her customers to make good tips... was although pretty, was probably one of the worst servers Ive had. I myself worked in the restaurant for 13 years (foh). Wether she was "slammed" or "in the weeds", she couldve at least mentioned that or had help from her coworkers. Dont go for a full serviced meal... in fact, go there already buzzed for their drinks, music, and dancing. Sorry worker made her company look sad in such a great spot.

Came around lunchtime in a Sunday with a party of six, wait was totally acceptable and the live mariachi was pretty fantastic. Really reasonable pricing for the location and half the menu is drinks so it doesnt take a ton of time to decide what you want. The natural shade from the tree in the middle of the restaurant is fantastic, as the whole place is outdoors. Definitely coming through here more often in the future!

My friend and I came here one night and a worker (maybe a manager) pulled her aside and told her last time when she came another night and used the bathroom with a friend without paying first...now she feels like their watching her and it made her feel a bit upset...she not the type of person to walk out so I felt like that was rude to pull her aside especially since this was my first time

Ambiance, sitting outside and music were nice! Its definitely a great place for that. The food, spicy margarita that tasted like spicy water, and the slow service were really bad!!!! The only reason I would only give it 2 starts is because I would only recommend it if youre only having beer and only there to enjoy the music and the outdoors. Other than that, its a 1 star.

This is my favorite stop in Santana Row. After a long afternoon of traipsing through the shops, its nice to be able to kick up your feet at a little, shady, outdoor tequila bar. It might be a little pricey ($12 for my flavored mojito, but welcome to Santana Row), but its great for a rest and people watching after shopping. I havent tried the food but the drinks are delicious.

The service was HORRIBLE! The hostess have attitude and was reluctant at sitting our table of 7. Few minutes later, server came out and denied us drinks claiming they had made last call. When we asked them if they really didnt want to make a quick tip and provide good service, they said it was only an 8% tip anyhow.

Ouch! Baaaad news. Ignored by waiters for a good 15mins. The place needs a hygiene shake down. Sat beside a table full of dirty dishes the whole visit despite lots of staff. Had to ask for the Happy Hour menu. Ordered pitchers of margaritas----ice and mixer only, maybe a trace of tequila. Mexi-disgrace.

My condolences, youve found yourself in the cultural wasteland that is Santana Row. If this place were anywhere else itd be out of business in less than six months. Here, though, its actually one of the better options. Anyway, enjoy your bland tacos and beer with lime-mix passed off as a michelada.

Great ambiance. Everything else is lost on this place. Terrible service, barely ever saw our server, and drinks, chips, and entree all arrived at the same time. Food is overpriced and average, vegi tacos were sauteed cabbage??? All around very disappointed. Hint of a great idea, but delivery.

Bice place in the middle of the street, literally! It can get pretty crowded here. Theres usually a live band playing at night. Never tried the food, but the drinks are good. Its even nice to come here during the afternoon for some drinks. It feels almost like youre not in a city!

Nice outdoor seating with many tvs. No draft beer but had bottles. The tvs had captions on which made it hard to watch the sports game. Its nice because its in the middle of the row and accessible only by foot. Good people watching.

We had an event here and could not be happier! The staff was outstanding. The food setup was timely and the food was nice and hot. Would definitely do it again.

It is an outdoor drinking bar with live music. In the summer after you do shopping for one or two hours, it is a good place for a rest. It is not cheap btw.
