Wow! These guys definitely know a thing or two about baking. I just tried their Cookie Monster bread pudding and I already cant wait to go back and sample some more of the desserts! Apparently they make this magical creation from whatever is left of their cookies and to quote a famous foodie, "the result is deliciousness". From croissants and cakes to tarts and scones, everything looks just delectable and professionally made. The coffee is from Dark Horse coffee roasters, so you know youll get a decent cup oJoe. The place has the feel of a European bakery and the open kitchen adds to the homey feel. Service was somewhat slow but no one seemed frustrated with the wait. If I were to rate the sandwiches from the one I ordered (I think it was called Members Only) Id say theyre OK. Bread was a bit over toasted, which resulted in a dryer exterior thats hard to eat and scratches the palate. Ingredients were fresh and well chosen though so it can easily fixed. Next time I will definitely go for the croissant (see picture) based sammie and capitalize on the softness of the pastry. There are a few choices of freshly baked breads and the breakfast menu looks well worth trying, so Im bringing the family for a more extensive tasting and if that goes well well subscribe the office for all those beautiful sugary snacks!

Stopped in to grab a few pastries before heading out for a hike in Mission Trails and wish we had planned a whole breakfast around this visit. We had the cinnamon roll (one of the best I have had in a while!) and a chocolate hazelnut pastry that was the consistency of something inbetween cinnamon roll and croissant (very good as well). The fresh baked breads looked amazing and the sandwiches all sounded very tasty. The prices may have been a little high, but nothing shocking these days at comparable bakeries. They have plenty of seating and a cute backyard with random seating and plenty of room to lounge.

The homemade bread is a little pricey, but fear not! They have happy hour Mon -Thu to help make it possible to indulge and I am a big fan of the Lemon Rosemary Sourdough (sliced upon request), as well as some of the breakfast croissants. Great sandwiches, rich hot cocoa (with homemade marshmallows), delicious cookies. As a bonus, it is the perfect spot if you are taking the number 2 bus or want meeting someone coming to visit you. Suggest that route so they can visit the Bakery while they wait for you to arrive.

Not impressed. Judged based on my experience not impressed. I love fruit tarts. Not fruit tarts with a thin layer of chocolate and the fruit was not fresh...gross. They had a great pecan sticky bun. Staff is eh; Not helpful, friendly or engaging and too long a wait for already made desserts. I ordered a espresso and latte again eh; not worth the $. The atmosphere is like the lyrics of "i wish I could be like the cool kids." I found the music too eclectic for my tastes. Ill pass.

My family was lame and didnt order a cake for my birthday. I have allergies and cant eat just any cake, so on my birthday I called around to order my cake. This place was awesome enough to accommodate me and make a cake for the same day. It was delicious! I look forward to trying more of their baked goods! Best Bakery ever! One cake was cookies and cream and the other raspberries and chocolate.

so that bakery that just opened up right next to my office.... is made out of magic.... it has to be magic.... its like they are baking using ingredients like the breast milk of angels, zeuss sugar cane and flour made from only the finest unicorn horns..... the sweet lady who sold me that wholesome goodness even hooked it up with a free cookie... amazing

I wish I could keep this place a secret, but I want them to do well! My husband and I would drive to their Costa Mesa location for a treat. They have good coffee, delicious sandwiches, and all their desserts are way too good. I hope San Diego treats them right, cuz these are my people!

My family and I love it here. Everyone was friendly. Food was Delicious ...sourdough bread, almond croissant and pretzels. We lived in Europe for 3 years so with bakery items we are spoiled. They did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and we loved that they had games!

Everything they make is amazing! Their bread is fantastic, and so are their sandwiches. The pastries, tarts, cookies, and cakes are all delicious as well. I cant say enough how happy I am that this little bakery just opened up in my neighborhood!

This awesome bakery is a block away from my place and I love coming here with my friends after work. The best thing they have is their happy hour: Monday trough Thursday after 4 pm all breakfast pastries are 50% off! Love this deal!

Churro/croissant combo churrsant was very tasty, as was the coffee which is to be expected. Some of the other desserts like the brulee and chocolate/raspberry were not as good, so maybe stick to the pastries. Ill definitely be back

Very cute bakery. Nice to have another option in the area. Sandwiches are tasty, portions a little small. To go orders have no napkins in the box, so remember to grab some before you leave.

I had the southern comfort and it was really good. I will definitely be back again to try some of their baked goods. I am curious about the churro crossed with a crossaint in particular.

It could be better. Way over priced and the staff always feels lackadaisical. I was the only one in there and it took way to long to make a simple sandwich. Cool outdoor seating tho

Dont tell anybody about the lemon sugar cookies. If too many people order them, they might run out and then I wont get any. This would throw off the balance of the universe.

Fabulous Sandwiches, Coffee and Pasteries. The Jalapeño Popper sandwich was hot and so good. I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture to post..

This new bakery has very good pasteries. Not vegan at all. The provolone tomato and the coconut stuff are very good. It has a cute terrace.

Good bread but they ran out of chocolat croissant quick, and when I asked them if they are making any the answer was "NO" at 10 am.

Seems like branding themselves is more important than food and drinks. Orders take way too long and dont live up to the hype
