Food is amazing and fresh but the service is terrible. It was like nobody knew what was going on or waiting for the food idk it was a hold up. Waited over an hour to get 2 bowls of menudo and not to mention the micheladas were warm! I recommend paying for the brun buffet instead. $20 a person doesnt seem bad after we paid $32 for 2 bowls and 2 beers. Id still eat here though like I said the food is amazing and authentic!

I had a horrible experience the first and last time i went here. i was with my friends and ordered a Caesar salad. in short, i found a baby roach in my salad, dead within the croutons after eating not even half the salad. I was disgusted, as any other person would be. The servers all ignored me until i got loud enough to have management. Management was kind enough to pick up my roach and my bill. I never went back again.

Always enjoy coming to Mitla Cafe. Never ate in the restaurant when I was young but started coming as a young adult. This is good down home cooking. Love the rellenos, tacos, beans, rice, eggs and chorizo. Their salsa is sooo good. my Mom makes hers like they make theirs! Love this place. Always see friends. Always a reunion for us born and raised in San Bernardino!

Been coming here for years it one of those places were where when you get your check on friday and you had all the taco bender , the amoplas and the super burritos and want to sit down and treat yourself to something better then good this is it grandmas in the kitchen the place been here since the 30 do I have to say any more stop cheating yourself life short

An Inland Empire treasure since it opened so many years ago. Excellent and authentic mexican food at fair prices with fast and friendly service. Locals know how fantastic it is and throngs of regular customers keep the place busy. Small and large dining rooms can accommodate any size party or sit at the lunch counter for a quick bite.

VERY NASTY FOOD I Got FOOD Poisoning the food is very nasty and gross at this place is the worst place you can eat hear I was throwing up my stomach was hurting me I Went to the E.R because I had stomach pains and the doctors at the E.R said that I had food poisoning ever since then I havent eaten here at all I was like ok ✌

Mitlas Cafe is one of the best, if not the best, Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. I grew up on Mitlas food. I have been extremely fortunate to travel the U.S. and many countries and Mitlas has always stood out. If you want authentic, lovingly-made Mexican food, look no further. 5 stars!!

My Friend Barbara took me for my birthday to the Mitla Cafe. I ordered the Chilli Relleno dinner, it was delicious . I was really pleased to have real authentic Mexican food from a restaurant. Ive been to other Mexican restaurants in the area and was not satisfied with their fake Mexican food.

Even though the food was a little greasy, to a Mexican Kitchen that is just plain Home Cooking. Love to return there one day to experience more of this "Home Cooking" from a Mexican Restaurant. I live a long way from San Bernardino, but I would love to go there next time I can.

Ive been going here since I can remember and so has my whole family. The food is amazing and truly Mexican with a twist of American. Its been around for yearsss! And the workers are very kind. My favorite is the combo with a taco, enchiladas, beans and rice!

The menudo is good the only thing is that when I ordered the big bowl it wasnt big lol! You guys need new deeper bigger bowls to hold more menudo and juice! That didnt feel me up at all! You guys are good though cant wait to try the rest of the menu!
