My favorite pizza place in Sac, other than maybe Papa Murphys. Ya, Im a little low-class with my pizza tastes, as none of the fancier restaurants seem to have very good pizza to me (oh, except Pizza Rock), but maybe I have a different set of priors. Im into that thin crust style more typical of the northern Midwest, and all I care about is meat and more meat for toppings. Pieology lets me pile these on, and I also put various veggies and sauces on too (because why not?!). Also, the staff is awesome. Ive probably been helped by every employee there by now. One piece of advice. Its crazy busy around lunch time, but if you go around 2, itll be almost empty and youll be served immediately.

Das ist wirklich mal ein überraschend cooles Konzept. Man stellt seine Pizza interaktiv zusammen, sie wird direkt vor den eigenen Augen belegt und dann frisch und wirklich knusprig gebacken. Und das alles noch zu einem günstigen Preis. Absolute Empfehlung. Grösstes Problem ist es, einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Good pies but nothing I feel the need to rush back to experience again. Two people can easily enjoy a single pie, the topping options are the usual suspects for a pizzeria. The pies are not excessively greasy or volcanic lava hot. Our wait for two pies was less than 10 min. I felt the pricing was appropriate, the resturant atmosphere was good and pies tasty. Im a huge fan of the thin crispy crust, the so so red sauce prevented this from being magical.

8 bucks for a custom-made pizza with unlimited toppings and crispy crust? I say 5/5 stars! If youre not a fan of thin-crust pizza, this place may not be for you. I had my pizza built with herb butter, red sauce, mozzarella cheese, red onions, green peppers, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, artichokes, jalapenos, and spicy chicken. Friendly and helpful staff. Expect long lines during peak hours.

First time there. Staff is friendly, helpful and the choices are just enough to not be boring. Quality of ingredients is good, and the end result is as good as your combination should be! Mine ended a bit on the greasier side, but still very good. You better get there before the Lunch rush or you will be waiting as lines get fairly long.

This is my favourite pizzeria in Orange County. Simple choice of base but from then on you can build your own pizza from the many ingredients available at no extra charge. Watch your pizza grow and be placed in the oven. Pizza is delivered to you at your table in a few minutes.

We know the owner personally so luckily we never have to wait. The pizza is DELICIOUS! We live in NJ and come at least twice a year for this place. The basil, the crust, the sauce.... I could go on and on. Not to mention the cal zones are wonderful as well. Love it!

Unlimited toppings for a really great price. If you happen to get something that will increase the cost of your pizza they always tell you right away. The atmosphere downtown is really nice and the decor is great. Really great tasting food and friendly staff.

I went into Pieology after running the California International Marathon. The choices were great, the products were fresh, price was right, and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely will be returning, awesome casual dining experience!

Totally love the customizability and makes for a unique pizza with wide variety of sauces, veggies, meats, and finishing touches. $10 for custom pizza can easily be shared between two people! (You can even do half of one style, half of another)

Ive visited three times and each time did NOT disappoint. Thin crust, fantastic tasting sauces, and a fun "choose-your-own" experience for the whole family. Moderately priced for a place in downtown. Be aware of parking though. Bring change.

Ive been a few times to Pieology and I like it. Staff is friendly. The food is good, everything is fresh. The place is inexpensive too. I guess they have found this invisible balance line between the price and acceptable quality of the food.

Very cool concept. You built your own pizza and pay always the same price (8, 45$). The size of the Pizza is okay. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. Only the chairs are pretty cold, pillows on them would help a lot.

You choose your sauce(s), veggies, meats. 11.5" pizza for only $8! ! Every pizza, every day! ! Its awesome! ! We arrived early so didnt have to stand in the line that winds around the store aisles. Its really THAT good! !

Great place if you want to build your own pizza all agreements with fresh when they cook your pizza is in a brick oven which makes it even better cracker crust on your pizza recommend it very much price is not that bad

Very cool concept! Its like Subway or Chipotle, but for pizza (and without the soy "chicken" and e-coli). There are tons of topping/crust/sauce options and you can get pretty creative. The pizza is really good too!

I like the toppings that Pieology offers compared to some of other fast fire pizza joints. My only complaint is that I dont care for the flavor of the pizza dough from Pieology. This location is normally busy.

Great pizza, love that I can get as many toppings as possible. Id like the bottom to get a little crispier on my pizza but overall a great experience. Lunch line gets long so get there early.

Took them ten minutes to start cooking our pizza. Took another 10 minutes for our pizza to be brought to our table. Seems like slow service for a Friday night. Wont be coming back.
