We a group of 10 people were asked to leave after one person stepped outside to smoke being told to move from on spot to another then security which was not labeled or did not say who we was told my buddy to move from where he was just told to stand. not announcing who he was but just stating "I m the person that can kick you out!" in a rude manner. Then saying "you can't go back in your to drunk." Funny 180 pound guy drunk off one beer? Not even close!!! He called us from out side stating he was not going to be able to come back in. My friend can be a little hot headed and loud after being approached unannounced by security. As we came out David Brattermiller The general manager a bald guy using smart remarks standing behind the red velvet rope antagonizing the matter. which was not professional in anyway. Mind you now this is becoming a seen out in font of the Pizza Rock on K street. This place looks cool nice painting on the ceiling and a semi truck coming out of the wall I thought was neet. But the thing is they were not professional when approaching my friend. Id go there again under new management

A unique pizza experience. First, there is the Peterbuilt truck cab that apparently has just driven through the wall, above our heads. (The bartender, some how, blasts the air horn.) Second, the ceiling painting. (Think the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512.) And third, theres always three, classic rock music. After all this, you have to add the award winning pizzas, each baked, as required, in one of three different ovens. I ordered a vegan pizza, thin crust with tomato sauce, topped with bell pepper, garlic and onion. It was baked perfectly with just a hint of carmalized crust. My companions pizza, a Margherita, includes fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic and thick pieces of mozzarella cheese. Baked in a brick oven, she called it delicious. Service was excellent. Parking is difficult but worth the effort. Wheelchair accessible including the bathrooms.

The sausage and stout pizza was a delicious surprise. A fan of all the ingredients, I gambled at midnight and see if there were any left. A slice in my mouth, the doughs sweetness hit first, the green onions and red peppers keeping the honey in check, followed by the mozzarella and fontina enveloping my tastebuds with the caramelized onion juices, and finally making way for the give-me-more-please-tasting sausage. We didnt finish the whole thing and enjoyed it just as much the following night out of the oven at home. The high tables were nice, but I felt our table got in the way of others walking around. The two guys managing the line outside looked similar and I got confused with whom I had been talking. One ding for gratuity already being written on the bill at 18%—at least it was on the non-tax portion. I think I missed something sitting down; Ill ask about it next time.

We ordered a pizza to go that was not large enough for our group of 6. Sonya the "manager" decided to come and tell us we were not welcome to use their table or napkins when we were choosing to sit down at their table to order more food. We were in town for a work convention with over 5000 people talking about customer service and what good service looks like and we got up and were able to explain our poor customer service from this place to everyone. Sonya needs to understand that a person who buys to go pizza should be valued as much as a person who dines in. The cherry on top was the fact they never actually brought the napkins they want us to use anyway. My advice to Sonya is to walk into each customer with an attitude of what she can do to make my experience better, not come up to me and just make me want leave and tell the world how terrible the service was.

Where to start. 1) Grid delivery service has been down for months with no update as to when it will resume. 2) Service is extremely inconsistent- as a party of 2, I have on 4 of 5 occasions experienced 1 of the 2 orders placed at the same time, taking longer 15 minutes (1 time it took 35 minutes) to deliver to the table. In some instances, no apology was given. In all instances, no compensation was offered (didnt ask- shouldnt have to). 3) 1 instance, hostess failed to return timely to our table to place 2nd order for happy hour, despite asking other wait staff to retrieve her. She would not honor our 2nd order at happy hour prices. Not sure what the deal is with this company, but it is frustrating to experience such horrid service, especially for the price of the food. They need to figure it out and get it together.

I was in town for a conference. Everyone was talking about this 90 second pizza. Back home, there is a place that recently opened up with the same concept. The inside and outside are nice. Staff is friendly. Now I had the "New Yorker" which was loaded with meat. Everything on the pizza and in the pizza was good. The problem was the crust and the temperature. To me, the crust is the pizza. It was very soggy and it would be creative to say it was hot. Mind you, this pizza comes out of a 900 degree oven (allegedly). It takes 90 seconds to cook. I dont know why the waitress would bother leaving the pizza station after she drops off the order; it cooks so fast. But somehow the pizza managed to be only slightly more than warm. Huge disappointment being that the "chef" is a 11 time pizza champ.

This is, hands-down, some of the best pizza Ive ever had and Ive lived in 6 states/15 cities across America. There are so many options, and everything is delicious. I love the long roma pizzas because its like getting 3 pizzas in one, plus they put just the right amount of toppings on. I went to this place when they first opened and the pizza has stayed just as awesome. Obviously, its EXPENSIVE and if youre dining in...having a few drinks..appetizer plus dinner with 2 people ...you can expect to pay about $100 by the time you tip. I dont get to eat here often, because Im not made of money, but when I think of a place that I want to go for a birthday or special occasion when $$ doesnt matter - its always Pizza Rock!

When this place first opened and I first started coming here for lunch, it was fast service and great food. However, the last few times - not so much. Sure, the lunch menu pizza is exactly the same every time, but the service is SLOW. Ok, I go at lunch, around 12ish, and the place is hopping, but when youre seated, each server Ive had waits a good 10 minutes or more after dropping your drinks, to take your order (I timed it!). THEN, its consistently been an additional 35 to 40 minutes wait for the food to arrive! It used to be, that I could do this place at lunch with time to walk the one block back into the office, but not anymore. Cant do this without, at least, a good 1 1/2 hour lunch to work with.

We have been here many times before, but were very disappointed with the service the last visit. We came over to eat after the Raffi kids concert at the Crest. The host was unwelcoming and seemed irritated that we were there, told 2 other families with kids, who were in front of us that the wait to be seated was 20-25 minutes. It looked as though many tables were available. A server came over to talk with him just as the two parties exited. We were seated less than 30 seconds after the other families were turned away. Service staff and kitchen staff were seen walking around on their phones, seen eating off of a high top between visits to check in with other tables. Food was as good as it always is.
