Theyve been around for a long time, and the quality / taste of food here has always been excellent. It can get Extremely busy sometimes, which may lead to some higher wait times for delivery (not bad, though - I believe the most time was about an hour to an hour, fifteen minutes). More times than not, usually the normal 30-45 minutes which is pretty consistent with delivery in modern times (Google the 80s and early 90s). The dine in experience is great as well. Compared to some other local options, theyre a bit more pricey for food. It seems worth it, however. The pizza has a different (the good kind of different) taste than any of the others. I could suggest a visit / delivery order for anyone in / passing through the area.

Best experience I have had at a restaurant. I was in town with a large group of friends and our kids. Was looking for a place to seat us all (28). I called ahead and the owner was very accommodating and said no problem we will make it work. We were greeted with a friendly staff and the owner was great. He came over and talked with us, the staff was very friendly and then there was the food. I was amazed on how many beers they had on tap (and the type), and the pizza and wings were great. I will definitely make this the 1st stop I go to eat when in town. My hat off to Fred (the owner) as he is running a great place.

Explicitly ordered a PLAIN cheese 14" pizza. Got there to pick up and there was enough oregano and spices on it for 5 pies. Mentioned to mgr who was nice and said I could come back if I did not like and he make it correct. Drove the 5 blocks back and car smelled like an oregano factory. Called and mgr who remembered me offered to make a personal pan pie or another 14" for 10% off. That would have made it $38 for a med pie. So I said I would take the personal pie,. Which basically cost me $20. Never again

Despite being a chain, the pizzas are very good and varied. While the pies are priced a little on the high end, that is more than made up for by the consistent and varied selection of great local craft beer. Definitely a bias toward West Coast IPA, but a bit of variety can always be found among the eight to 10 taps. Lunch brings a steady stream of local workers while the evening brings regulars and local families. Sports are frequently on the two TVs especially SF Giants and NFL.

Visiting REI Sacramento, I happened by Extreme Pizza (nearby) and noticed a "gluten-free" pizza sign in the window. Since as a celiac, I must follow the gluten-free diet, that sign was enough for me to give the place try. I ordered the "yard sale" topping. (I liked the possible snow sports allusion.) Possibly the best GF pizza of the 5 or so I have sampled. Excellent flavor and lots fresh veggies. Good service.

Old School Service: I had a wee problem with a to-go order and the owner Fred took care of it without a second thought. Truly outstanding service and very old school in philosophy. The pie I ended up with was very tasty with a great sauce. They have great beer on tap (try the Arrogant Bastard), a cute young crew working, and the owner looks sorta like Santa...lol. Highly recommended.

Pure Disgust Found Dead Flies baked in our Pizza, and I feel like this was Done on Purpose... How could some people be so Cruel, our children almost ate this. I am Contacting BBB and Food Inspector regarding this matter. Will Never Eat Here Again and Will be informing all of my Social Media Outlet about this Terrible experience and filthy unkept nasty insect infestated dump.

I ordered a salad with ranch. I didnt get ranch or the correct salad. When I called 2 minutes after I left to see if they can correct the order if I turned around and went back in, they said they would only be able to give me a smaller salad. Or I had to give them the salad I received and get a refund. Horrible customer service. Un friendly manager.

I came to Sacramento for the day and my son wanted pizza so I googled it and it said this place was the best in town and u know what they were right. My 4 year old loved it and I did to and the service was excellent. I told Robbie to surprise me on the type of pizza and he gave me a pizza with sliced tomatoes, cilantro, sausage pepper cines, it was good.

THIS PIZZA PLACE COULD NOT BE ANY BETTER WOW IT IS EXTREME..dont you think the guy is sick & tired of the flatlanders coming down the hill from Tahoe stopping & asking to use his bathroom w/o buying anything? Give the guy a break. They have awesome pizza & is a fun place to go have a beer & watch whatever game is on the tv.

When I travel I want to support the local economy so I look for local mom & pop business, although Extreme Pizza is a franchise the owners and staff are great the food is top qaulity - fair price, and a great selection of local micro brewed beers I highly recommend this spot

We got the standard screamin tomato pizza. It was absolutely the worst pizza we have ever had. It was dry, hard, disgusting. Perhaps if we had asked for the tomato sauce it would have been better. But still that wouldnt have helped the cardboard crust.

More like extreme trash... it was just awful. Very skimpy with the toppings and the pizza just had a very weird taste to it. A small at romas is 12 dollars and its bigger, cheaper and way better than the medium we got tonight. Waste of money, never again.

Awesome place to eat. Great pizza and lots of choices. One of the best beer selections and only $3 for a pint of microbrew. Great staff and customer service. The owners are very nice and friendly. A+

The people were extremely nice. The natural sandwich was delicious!! Went back the next day just to get it again and it was just as wonderful the next day. Their lunch specials are so affordable.

Extreme a#%! H#%s dont deliver in my area and only 1.4 miles away, take your so-call extreme pizza and shove it, yourre not the only pizza joint in town, you will be closing down pretty soon! ;-)

Since they charge $30 (which is absurd) for a gluten free pizza, I expected good gluten free crust... The crust was absolutely terrible-- I will never come here again. $30 waisted

Great pizza and wings but pitcher of hef was warm.....dude in front put my pitcher back in the ref but still not cold. I dont really like warm beer but food was good.
