This place has amazing burgers! They may be a little greasy, but I dont think youre watching your health when you get a burger. Juicy, big, and tasty! The burgers are priced as a combo with a drink and fries. And when they have a lunch special on their whiteboard by the register, try it! That special has never failed me. If youre coming here during lunchtime, this place gets packed with all the workers in Downtown on lunchtime and parking will be hard to find. The staff is friendly and girl at the register ended up remembering my name since I ended up going here waaaay too much for lunch. Check it out!

The prices are fair for downtown, but I was disappointed in the sandwich I purchased. First, no sides are included with any of the burgers or sandwiches. If you want fries or onion rings (which I got and were quite good), its extra $$. Also, the $8 sandwich I got was skimpy on some of the ingredients. I got the surfer one (forgot exact name), and it was very skimpy on the cream cheese, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. Overall, the flavor was good, but the sandwich was not huge for the price. Id try it again, but the Pho place next door sells $5.25 Vietnamese sandwiches and they are huge!

One of my coworkers had a Groupon which was going to expire soon. He ordered the cold turkey and beef sandwiches for our lunch meeting. Who says there is no such thing as free lunch. These sandwiches were delicious. I honestly prefer warm sandwiches. I ended up putting mine in the oven to toast the bread. My other coworkers enjoyed their beef sandwiches. And the restaurant was very nice and in a short notice they accommodated such a large order.

Please tell me why you must order 10x items or more just to deliver 2 blocs away? I work very close to this place and called to order from you guys, but was turned away and said i had to order 10 or more items to be delivered?!? If i could leave and walk, i would but cant leave my job while working. Just dont make sense , like i understand a delivery fee or what not but 10 or more is just ridiculous...

On a recent business trip to Sacramento, I had the fortune to eat at Dads twice during the trip. First of all, their burgers are absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger that was juicy, flavorful, and extremely reasonably priced. On my second time through, I had the chicken fingers and fries, which were crispy, juicy , and delicious. Highly recommended when youre in Sacramento.

This is one of my favorite lunch places downtown. Burgers are great and classic style, the Philly is really good and my favorite sandwich is the "Hot Blonde". I love to call in my order and pick it up, because it does get busy during the lunch hour, and its a small restaurant. I suggest going before 11:45 AM or after 1 PM if you want to beat the rush. Even though its worth the wait!

Lunch was great today. Had the BBQ bacon burger on sourdough. Combo comes w fries and a drink. $12 w tax and tip. Well worth it. Couldnt finish the fries. Huge order of steak fries. Location is a bit sketchy but no worse than any other downtown location. Do yourself a favor and EAT AT DADS!!

Ive had the Chomper, the Lockdown and the Cheeseburger, and theyve all been really good. The food is affordable, and comes out quickly. Its really busy at lunch, so best to stagger your lunch hour on the early or late side of noon. Though, you can also get your food to go. (Problem solved!)

Great place for lunch. Went for my first time. So glad I called in as the guy running take out lane called my name & said I didnt have to wait in long line where others order. He quickly processed my Groupon and handed me one if the best sandwiches Ive had all year!

I apologize for not writing this sooner. Amazingly good food, friendly team, and honestly its one of the best deals to price wise. A family of four could have dinner and and than so go to a Kings game without taking out a loan. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Great food, excellent prices, especially since it became Dads. All the salads are great, but the Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich, steak fries and a drink for $8 is the best. Can get crowded at lunch, so I usually go after 1:00.

Try to go early, The eating area is "SKINNY" and they pack up at lunchtime every day! I like the western, it has - bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce, all on toasted sower dough bread slices. Ohhh so many delicious calories!

Dads is always good for burger, sandwich, and salads arent bad either. Music is loud and its definitely going to be busy at lunch time. Dont expect a fancy meal here but come for the consistently good food.

Dont miss the BLT with avocado. Nearly half a pigs worth of bacon. The onion rings are deep fried to order and arrive with a light yet crispy texture. One of the best food values in downtown Sac.
