My wife and I are retired and dine out 3 to 4 times weekly. We do not like to stray far from home and usually eat our meals in mid-afternoon. We were delighted when Kilt Pub opened its doors about two years ago less than a mile from home, but found the original menu offerings a bit limited and, frankly, not all that good. Then, last St. Pats day we were looking for a good Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner and decided to give Kilts another try. To our pleasant surprise we found Kilts to be under new ownership and enjoyed the best Corned Beef we have ever had, even in Dublin. Now, seven months on, Kilts has become our main eatery. There are so many positive aspects about this establishment, it is difficult to know where to begin. Alice and Marko, the new owners, are Czech emigres and bring an old world charm that is refreshing and a sheer delight. There is the traditional Public House fare of Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Shepherds Pie. But Alices weekly specials are usually a good bet: Meatloaf, Jambalaya, Stuffed Peppers, Paprika Chicken, Hungarian Goulash, and the list goes on. My personal favorites are the Lox and Sour Cream atop Potato Pancakes, and any soup she serves will be awesome. Try it, youll be happy that you did.

Maybe I need to not come for happy hour (4-6 pm) but I wasnt impressed. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and top 40 music from 90s and early 00s in the background but the appetizers were eh and I didnt feel like ordering food after that. There was a featured beer with a rep (Fort Point Beer Co. Animal IPA) which I enjoyed but the draft selection wasnt too special, albeit cheap ($5 pints and $5 apps). There was a wide array of bottled beers and it looks like a lot of people like to come here regularly with a large enough capacity. Our waitress was friendly but she came by our table waaay too often for how little we got.

Four were looking for a fun Sunday evening neighborhood environment to cap off the days B-B-Q. Choosing the Kilt Pub was one of the best decisions of the day. Stacey helped with beer and cidar choices with generous samplers and her wonderful personality made our visit and the day complete.

Ive been to this place a few times and they have pretty good food and great beer. However, the service is not the greatest. Tonight we walked out because it took so long to be served. We were there 20 minutes and never placed a drink order. Thankfully Wennellis is next door.

This place is the best. Its been our usual for going on three years. I like that the beers dont rotate once a day, and they always have Sculpin on tap. The burgers are to die for. Absolutely the best. Im not a big fan of their new name, but I understand.

For a local joint around the corner this place has great beer and great German inspired food. Portions are sizable. Can be pricey but worth the extra few bucks considering the competition surrounding the place

Lunch special salad has been amazing twice. Today the server was able to help me make two dishes into a combo which was perfect! Service and beer selection has been phenomenal on two visits. Highly recommend!

Pretty good pub food and a great selection of beers with lots of bottles as well as 19 rotating taps. I highly recommend the Fish and Chips as well as the pot pie. When available the borch is also top notch!

Yeah there are a lot of beer options, but most of them are pretty mainstream. Not that its a bad thing, just not for the hunter of obscure brews. Food is fantastic, a burger is almost a meal for two.
