Went to Roseville location for dinner Monday night. Drinks were fine waiter was friendly but thats where the good evening turned into a disaster! I ordered the pasta & meatballs upon arrival and first bite I found the meatballs to be raw! I showed my wife and she agreed they were clearly not cooked. Told the waitress and she asked if she could take a meatball back to kitchen to show the cooks. She came back and said theyd make me a new one. I said just make it to go. Waitress came back said going to make s new one. She came with to go box and we paid our bill and left. The next night I Opened the box and heated up everything only to find the same original meatballs, now in various pieces, put in box as New when the kitchen just boxed up original raw meatballs and did nothing to improve the dish! This is just so wrong on many counts that I cannot even consider going back! Just terrible and no management in sight. Too bad it has a beautiful spot and decor its so sad that they hire people that would subject their customers to these very poor choices by kitchen.

Was rather disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. 5 of us went for dinner on a Sunday night, we reserved through Open Table. With the fancy decor and cloth tables I expected excellence and was greatly disappointed. Everything appeared to be out of stock, no ravioli, no broccoli, out of the wine we wanted. The servers excuse was they run out on Sundays. Why wouldnt you order more then! Especially if its on your special menu. We also sat often with empty glasses and no bread. Our servers werent very attentive and there were only a handful more tables sat, definitely not a packed house. None of the dishes were raved about that evening, and my salmon was nothing to write home about.

Rated this place a 3 since the inside looked very nice and fancy and the staff is friendly. As for the food, not my favorite or that great for the price. The stuffed raviolis were cold in the edges and just room temperature in the inside with an average taste. In the menu, there is the option for your meal to be either a small or bigger portion for a little extra price if you get the bigger one. I ordered the bigger one and it was small and even had to double check with the waiter to make sure I got the bigger portion one I ordered. Overall if you want average Italian food, head across the street to olive garden and youll get more bang for your buck.

Superb Italian food! I should know I seek out excellent Italian Restaurants and this is one of my favorites. The food is not only authentic, but also beautifully presented. The wait staff are always attentive and give us excellent service! We come back every month and have never been disappointed! This is our #1 Il Fornaio and weve been to every one in the Bay Area! Keep up the good work! I am Sicilian, Venetian and Calabrese and I know good Italian..Ciao!

Quality every time! I have never had anything but great food here! Dont let the fact that this place is next to a mall fool you-they are serving amazing Italian food. The butternut squash ravioli is pretty much to die for! Solid wine menu and great atmosphere. The seating along the side of the restaurant is really beautiful. The manager Sarah and server Shane always have a smile on their faces and really make you feel like you are a true guest. Love it!

I was disappointed in the service here. I came with a friend for lunch and we were the only ones on the patio so they forgot about us. No refills, no check ins, nada. So, after we finished the waiter comes out and laughs and says oh I forgot about you guys. Thats it. Thats all he said and he took our plates. WOW. So even though I do like the food and the ambiance, I will NOT be returning anytime soon.

This restaurant was amazing, the atmosphere really made you feel comfortable the minute you walked in and the service was excellent! I knew when I went to this restaurant I had to propose to my girlfriend in this very place and it was everything I could have dreamed of, she was blown away by everything and it could not have been a more perfect night!

This location has a lovely large building with high ceilings that open into a long dining room. It would be excellent if not for the signs of neglect - not quite clean bathrooms, with accumulated dust and cooking grease. The service is mostly attentive. The food is good, but not inspired. Overall I get the impression they are doing "just enough".

So we decided that we would take our family here for dinner for Christmas Eve, and the experience was horrible from the time we checked in till we left. There is too many things to list but my biggest complaints would be the arrogance of our waiter and the plastic found in my 3 year olds pasta. Definitely a disappointing experience!!!!

We had dinner for 18 here last night and cant think of enough superlatives, each meal was cooked to perfection, the server was gracious and timed our deliveries well. From beginning to end, we were all delighted. AND, for the money, the best food in town! Even our 2 year old grandson was treated like a prince. Thank you!

I am sorry to say that I had the worst Margarita pizza there. So so sauce, skimpy cheese and a few snips of basil. Also no A/C that night, a few stand fans moved the hot air around. I was here with my out of town family and trying to give them a treat..... Failed!

I went there with my boyfriend for dinner the waitress was very attentive without being to intrusive and the ambiance was nice, very romantic the food was good, but my noodles were slightly under cooked but other then that, it was nice. We will be returning (:

I love this place... eat here about once a week. The reason for this review is because our food server was super awesome... Her name is Edyta very friendly and outgoing, can totally tell she loves her job. The food rocks here... everything is YUMMY.

The food was not tasty at all , we sat close to the kitchen area and they were cleaning the dishes and the stuff it was so so so noisy , the price doesnt worth it, bad choice and will never come back.

I really like their food and the atmosphere. Try the hand made pizza its amazing. I have been to the Sacramento and San Jose locations but this one is really nice since its at the Galleria.
