This place doesnt get enough love for the food it serves - authentic Northern Chinese dishes. For the uninitiated, all those flower pepper / ginger / spicy type dishes you see in TV shows about China is the cuisine they serve here. Most of the Chinese food you get in mixed restaurants (lets say that also serve Vietnamese, Korean or Thai) dont serve the same type of food you would get at a place like this. Although the food is tasty, the prices are a bit high. Also the ambient decor of the restaurant is a little disheveled looking. Factor in horrible parking during weekends and busy lunch hours, and its a restaurant you really have to be in the mood for to make the trip if youre not a local. They also do take-out if you rather eat at home, but you have to know what to order (its a traditional menu style restaurant - no bright signs or anything)

いわゆる、新疆的な料理になるんでしょうか？よくある串刺しの羊肉はうまかったですが、他は微妙でした。たぶん日本人とバレてたとは思いますが、フレンドリーな雰囲気は良かったです。残念なのはカードが使えないコトでした。写メ撮るの忘れたーと思って次の日の夜行ってみたら、何だか貸切？っぽい感じになっていました。中国で食べるほうが日本人には合っているかな？

Been here on Marth 2011, great taste. Originally from Shenyang, I think these following dishes are awesome: appetizer--spicy Tu3 Dou4 Si1, Liu1 Rou4 Duan4, Leng3 Mian4, shou1 si1 bing3, xun1 rou4 da4 bing3, jiang4 gu3 tou2. These following dishes are only ok, not recommended: yang2 rou4 chuan4, jiang4 shao1 eggplant.

I came here doing a group dinner. This is a small mom and pop restaurant that specialty When you see see cockroach in the wall, it is time to leave this place.... Disgusting and food isnt good... Only saving crave is cheap and you can bring you own wine without getting charge extra.

Its a hole in the wall kind of place with rough service. But the food taste and value really shine through. Excellent and authentic Northern Chinese specialties include sour cabbage pork soup, dumplings and meat pies. Comfort food done right.
