Excellent food - Definitely under new ownership! I have now eaten over 12 dishes at the Monorom Cambodian restaurant of Long Beach and I must say I am always extremely impressed with the succulent and flavors of each dish. I have been coming back almost every weekend with my kids and continue to choose a different item on the menu to see if well get disappointed and each dish seems to be better than the last. I have to say Monorom has become our favorite restaurant for Cambodian food in Long Beach.

I dont know how to start with the review because things were just too great. The Cambodian food here was just phenomenal and very authentic plus, the service was as great as it could get in America or anywhere else I have ever been. The environment was very Cambodian like along with friendly smile from the server. I totally recommend this place for anyone who come and visit Long Beach, CA that are interested in trying new awesome foods. This is totally a place I am going to visit again.

Located at a busy intersection amidst the large Cambodian community in Southern California, this restaurant is very trendy, well decorated and provides authentic Khmer food. The soups with fish sauce and served on a hot plate is classy. This is one of the finest Cambodian restaurant in Southern California. During my third visit I ordered barbecue beef with rice, it was indeed fantastic. The plate was adorned with colourful vegetables and perfectly decorated.

Coming from Chicago, Khmer food is very hard to get to. Luckily, being in Long Beach, there are no shortages of them. Monorom is one of the best. It is small but there are beautiful photos and antiques to keep your attention. It is very authentic. I had the fried dumplings with fish sauce, the pork bone stew with the different spices you can mix with, and the watercress pork belly with rice. Terrific meal and all reasonably inexpensive

Stopped in for a meal before heading to the airport. The area seemed intimidating with all the businesses being focused to cater to the asian population, but the staff was awesome with helping us pick out dishes and the food was great. Recommend the lemongrass chicken.

It may be small but dont let that fool you, my boyfriend is Mexican and every time I ask him where he wants to eat he always say monorom lol the food is so good that we go almost every weekend. Literally everything on the menu is good.

A great local restaurant showcasing the cuisine of the Cambodian people living in the surrounding neighborhood. Service is great and the food is fantastic. Definitely get the beef stew with the baguette and try the jamaica drink.

Under new onwership. Place is small. Price is cheap. Food is great. Phom Pehn noodle is really good with the donut. Beef on a stick is the best I had. I come here about 5 times a month.
