I have been to this restaurant for almost 3 years, I love the food there so much and almost went there once a week, and so does my friends. However, one thing that very disappointed me is the elder waitresss attitude. Every time I go there, she always gives me a really bad service. Especially today, when she heard I said the lemon tea was taste bad, which she refilled for me, I was very shocked that she answered me like this: "if it is taste bad, then dont drink it !! " What a GOOD answer !!!! I wont be there anymore until this waitress is disappeared in this restaurant !!

A typical Hong Kong style cafe. It is always crowded especially on weekends so get here really early or be prepared to wait forever. Service is nothing much to speak of but the food is really good. I always get the thick toast with condensed milk and butter (crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and covered in buttery goodness!), chow mien with bean sprouts and soy sauce (so simple yet amazing texture and taste), butter bun and hong kong milk tea.

The SGV is truly a wonderland for different genres of Asian restaurants. Delicious Food Corner is a Hong Kong diner type cuisine. Utter lack of the finer points service are a point of pride, like you would get from Flo at a local diner. They arent going to answer your dumb questions with a smile. We fed 6 adults handsomely for 80 bucks, so go nuts and try it all.

What really stands out to me about this place is the generous portions they give for each dish or bowl! Im a big guy who eats a lot. I would say one order of noodles would make me satisfied. Not over the top full, but full enough for one meal. This means I dont have to order two items unless I want to get really, really full. Oh, and the food is delicious, too

Authentic Hong Kong style cuisine. Love their curry fish balls, mined meat rice and congee. Place is always packed so be sure to come early. They just remodeled and expanded the restaurant so it has a modern feel when you go inside. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in the Monterey Park area.

Best HK-style congee in the SGV. The breakfast specials are a nice deal, which are served until 11:30am. Lunch and dinner are average. The drinks, especially the milk tea (either hot or cold) and the iced lemon tea are quite good compared to other cafés. Be sure to take advantage of free refills.

Great little HL breakfast cafe. Service can be spotty as the kitchen makes certain things in batches so some items can take a bit longer to arrive. Breakfast combos are a great deal and the porridge is great. The rest of the food isnt too bad either.

Authentic Hong Kong Style Chinese food. The extensive menu keeps me coming back. I would definitely recommend the congee, rice flour rolls, and fried rice. Be warned, this place does get crowded, but hey, thats the price you pay for good food.

I usually come for breakfast and lunch but especially breakfast because of their great specials. My favorite is the fish paste with lettuce porridge (breakfast) or the ginger chicken rice (lunch). Theyre cash only and packed in the morning.

The most authentic HK breakfast experience in the LA area: rude/busy waiters, good milk tea, awesome range of congee and breakfast dishes, and communal tables (if you come with less than 6 people you WILL be sitting with some randos)

Traditional Hong Kong style breakfast. Prices are very reasonable. Expect a wait, but the service is fast and turnaround on tables can be fast. They definitely utilize the space as you might be very cozy to the tables around you.

Delicious, authentic food. Fast service. Cash only. The two noodle sides that came with the rice porridges were both a bit lacking in flavor but still good. Coffee milk tea and milk tea were way too strong, not well balanced.

Five star for food. Not super clean but good enough for Chinese. Parking can be tricky during peak hours. Get the congee, pineapple bun with butter and cheurng fun. Milk tea is great too
