I have a worst experience in this Chinese restaurant at my first day of the Year of the Rabbit. I came to this restaurant with my friend and her other friend. The other friend knows the owner of the restaurant so we allow the owner to introduce whatever he thinks the best of the dishes at his restaurant. I specially told the owner that I dont eat pork, it would be great if he can recommend me something that is not made out of pork. Then he asked if I am a Muslim and I said no. I just dont like pork and I have not eaten any pork for 20 years. He guarantees that there will be no pork for me. Then after we have our food on the table the owner turns a dish to me and asks me to give it a try. It is some sort of stuffing covered with sweet rice. So I asked him again if inside of this dish contains pork and he said no. Then I had a bite and found that there is meat inside so I asked again if this is beef. He then told me that it is pork!!! I cant believe that he has tricked me to eat pork. He then acted very proud and told me that "Look! How good have I cooked my pork, you can not even identify it." This guy then has no ashamed of what he has done to me and he continued to say that he has done that to customers who are vegetarian to proof that how tasty his food was. I told the owner that if he has done this to a real Muslim he could get suit. Then he argued to me that he has asked me to make sure I am not. What an evil restaurant owner! He did not respect me as a customer as well as never being honest to what he has offered. I do not care how good the food really are in this restaurant. The owners behavior really disgusts me and the worst thing is that he does not think what he has done to me was wrong so he has no intention to apologize to me. Later he continued to act very proud of what he has done and kept on saying that he has made someone who has never tasted pork for 20 years to eat pork today. I feel insult but I do not want to show my anger because this is the Chinese New Year. It will bring bad luck being angry to someone today (I guess I am just out of luck today to come to this restaurant!). I told him to stop teasing about this thing and he seemed can not. What a pathetic person who has no moral value at all. Making a fool out of a customer for having fun? It is unbelievable!!! After I back home the night I still feel very disgusting when I see meat on the dinner table and recall what happened to me at the restaurant this afternoon. Please boycott this restaurant! If you are vegetarian or Muslim or just dont eat pork like I do then you better not go to this restaurant. Chances are you might be eaten something that you dont really want and make yourself look like a fool in front of this evil owner. DONT GO! JUST DONT GO! This restaurant does deserve to close for some reasons!

Searched for authentic Sichuan food....found it. Great food and owners. Most Chinese Restaurants say they have Sichuan style food, but they only pretend to have the tastes. These folks are not pretenders. They cook the tastes and can bring the heat! Make sure you tell them you want Sichuan Hot (to what degree) and they will do it.....if you can handle it. Favorites: Sliced beef tendon (extra hot), pickled vegetable (hot), beef boil in chile oil (extra hot) with rice, Don Don Noodles, diced chicken with dried chile....really, have not had anything bad....all tasty! We love the food so much, we drive 90 miles to get our Sichuan fix.

Ive finally found a place where you can get great chinese food in Rocklin. I have eaten at many different chinese restaurants in many different cities known for their good food (from SF to Seattle) that I feel I have a reasonable basis for my high opinion of this place. If you know what to expect from a reasonably good restaurant in SF for instance, you will feel that Golden Dragon is on par and you will be pleased. The only thing I will point out is that they are on the spicy side, so if you are like my wife (and do not want it spicy) they happily obliged us and made a great tasting mild dish.

They will serve you typical Chinese-American food here if you so request, but do yourself a favor and ask for the Szechuan menu. Some of the items are a little adventurous, but youre sure to be rewarded if you choose something youve never tried here. Definitely try the Lazi Gi (spicy chicken) and the Hui Guo Rou (twice cooked pork - now my favorite way to eat the cut that we turn into bacon), as they are staples of authentic Sichuan cuisine and offer some very unique and incredibly delicious flavors. My wife is from Sichuan and she absolutely loves the place!

We stopped in to try it and it was very good. Ordered Jing Jing Beef, Orange Chicken and chicken chow mein. Everything was prepared very quickly and tasted very fresh. The beef and chicken were both tender. Orange chicken was white meat and not overwhelming "orangy" which is a reason why we do not order orange chicken ever! Our waiter was very honest with the dishes when we asked his opinion and he even steered us away from some veggie dishes that contained veggies that were not in season as those veggies would probably be tough. Well be back!

麻婆豆腐 凉拌菜很好，没有带甜味的熟油。可以用四川话点菜，味道没有为了老美而改变。蚂蚁上树放了点儿香油，味道有点儿特别，材料用得很好。由于没有莴笋，鱼香肉丝就一般。没有蒜苗儿，熬锅肉也就不咋个了。也算是吃过的最正的川菜了。推荐

I have eaten in at this restaurant for lunch on several occasions and I really must say that I think you cannot beat the value for money. I have tried different chinese restaurants for lunch specials but unlike most of the others, the food at this one is truly great. Very tasty... and they ask you how spicy you want each dish. I would definatley recommend trying it for lunch. Their main menu I tried one evening for takeout and I was equally as satisfied. They have some really authentic dishes on the menu.

This chinese restaurant is by far the most wonderful thing ive ever found! Their food is so tasty you dont get sick of it! They have great lunch specials and its service is great and fast! Perfect for college students on lunch or even dinners in peace. Try their Orange Chicken sometime, its uncompared to the others with tasty crunchy thin sliced chicken, cooked with a batter and glazed nicely with authentic orange sauce made there. By far my favorite!

Should have walked out when I was argued with over there menu being different online. Not friendly not helpful. Very rude waiter.After giving us frozen shrimp that had freezer burn and orange chicken that had no orange flavor at all we relieved our bill still. Old nasty food and when I tried saying it to him he said no one else complains. Well people need to stop paying for grosse food.

Rocklin now has a awesome Chinese Food Restaurant! The best Chinese food i have had in years!! Very nice atmosphere and clean warm and very friendly! Very large menu and price is lower than I thought it would be! after all that great food I needed a dogie bag! This place is tucked away in a small shopping center! So from now on, it will be my hidden treasure =)
