Since Mikasa opened, they continue to get better and better. Every time Ive been there (approximately 15 times) the staff have been very friendly and attentive. I usually stick to rolls or sashimi, which is always good. My favorite is the Jerrys Roll. Its a meal all by itself; with cilantro, garlic chips, different types of sashimi, tobiko, tempura shrimp, crab salad and a great sauce. I know Ive forgotten some ingredients. I will continue to visit Mikasa, you cannot go wrong.

The sushi here is the worst Ive ever had. The guys making it arent even Japanese, I shouldve walked out then. But I decided to give it a shot and boy did they prove me right. The rolls were so thin and round you cant even pick it up without it falling apart. It came to us on a plate like what you would give to your dogs. It tasted exactly what it looked like. I will never come back here again.

We sat far away from the main door and we still felt a huge air draft. It was uncomfortable and intense enough to make our plate contents lukewarm. The basic salad dressing has been one of the best ones I have ever tried. The fried gyozas were undercooked and I was able to tell that they were previously frozen.

Generous portions of food were had here. I got the 8 Pc. Nigiri and the fish was fresh and tasty. It was also some big chunks of fish :) We also got 3 different rolls and both types of Edamame. Neither my wife, myself or our daughter had a bad word to say. Would definitely recommend for sushi in Tracy.

Love this place. Good rolls, friendly the owner just came up to our talbe and started talking to us like we were family and it was just not the first time she did this but every time we go. I dont see she doing to it all customers she just must feel the right ones to talk too.

If your every anywhere near this place. Stop in. The food is awesome. The rolls are always fresh and the consistent over the many times Ive eaten there. The rolls are a little longer than you may be used to, so be ready to over eat a bit. ;)
