This restaurant is very nice. It has a nice feel to it. Nicely decorated. Food so far has been delicious. I just wish they gave you some papar to eat with the Chutneys they place on the table. The Mint Chutney is yummy. Our family has tried the Vegetable Samosa, the Onion Bhajais, Chicken Tikka Masala, Okra Massala, Kadhai Scallops, Lamb Vindaloo, Aloo Gobi, Baingan-Mirchi Ka Salan to name a few. One of the waitress gave us a great tip on Spice level jalapeno hot, serrano hot or habanero hot. Our niece is vegan and we find a lot of options for her. The portions are small, but I believe just right. Reservations is a must. Every time weve called they are booked up. This was our second visit and the reason I give them a four star is because they do take a long time to serve the food. Both visits have been after 6:00 PM.

Cant give this place enough stars!! First and foremost, the food is top-notch. They give you a scale from 1-10 of how spicy you want your food. Since Im a lightweight, I asked for a 2 and that is exactly what I got. I might try a 3 next time! The decor is like the interior of an Indian palace. Beautiful, elegant and inviting. The music was totally hip: Chill music with Indian singers and instruments over a funky modern beat. Not loud, just perfect. As a musician Im super-sensitive to music, i.e., its genre and volume. The service was fast, the wait staff was really friendly and still smiling after a long day. We got there late, but were treated like the first customers of the day. If this place maintains this quality, they will become too busy to get in!

I NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY IN MY LIFE. I WENT SUNDAY NIGHT, DINNER FOR TWO AND TOLD THERE WAS A 1 AND 1/2 HOUR WAIT. I LOOKED AROUND AND SAW 2 TABLES OPEN AND NO LINE. I TOLD MY WIFE THEY DISCRIMINATED ON US BECAUSE WE ARE A YOUNG COUPLE AND I WAS WEARING A HAT. SHE SAID MAYBE THEY HAD LOTS OF RESERVATIONS. I WAS A RESTARAUNT OWNER AND COULDNT SEE THAT TO BE THE CASE. I CALLED 10 MINUTES LATER TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR TWO. I WAS TOLD, WHEN DO YOU WANT TO COME IN, AND I SAID SOON AS POSSIBLE. I WAS TOLD COME RIGHT NOW AND THEY WOULD FIT ME IN. WHAT A JOKE. I LIVE IN KINNELOA ESTATES AND EAT OUT EVERY NIGHT. I LOVE INDIAN FOOD AND WAS HAPPY TO SEE THIS PLACE. I WILL DEFINATLEY NEVER EAT HERE AND TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO EITHER.

The food was good, although not exceptional, marred by cold plates, so that the food itself was rapidly cold. We expected a fresh modern decor from the impression that the name of the restaurant and positive reviews of the decor inspired. But, in fact it was the flock wallpaper and heavy velvet drapes in dark colors that reminded of more old fashioned Indian restaurants in the UK. The seating was heavy leather diner style benches in part and dark nondescript table and chairs for the rest. Disappointing. The service was pleasant and reasonably efficient. It was busy, so evidently a popular eating venue.

The best Chicken Tikka Masala I have come across so far. The food is cooked and served so beautifully, while sitting in comfortable seating with soothing music in the background. One thing that is different with this location is the lack of poppadoms as a starter before your meal, but once our meal had arrived we soon forgot about it and tucked in. The staff are very professional and know everything about the menu, from pronunciation to how the dish is cooked. We will definitely be returning.

This place just opened up in our neighborhood. We went for dinner during their "soft opening". The food was fantastic, the service was very friendly and prompt. I really appreciated the fact that they had a childrens menu. It gave our youngest (a very picky eater) a gentler introduction to Indian cuisine. Well certainly be making this one of our regular places, but next time we wont order quite so much food. Gotta leave room for Carmelas ice cream, which is just across the street!

Excellent little spot! My wife and I have been here twice, and will me making other visits for sure! I ate the vindaloo chicken (spice level 10 out of 10). The service is also excellent here, despite how busy the place is. Not many places keep my drink glass full. The server we had last time was also great. Both were knowledgeable and attentive. Suggest you make a reservation as the returant was packed during both visits (both visits during holiday weekends).

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The interior was more ornate and fancy than expected. I was impressed that they had a kids menu but disappointed that they didnt have a buffet for lunch. The menu was sort of inflexible for our tastes and then after encountering a rude waiter we left to another Indian restaurant in Pasadena.

This place has hands down amazing vegetarian food. In each bite I could taste amazing blend of spices. The ambience is so good it feels like you are sitting in a room within a palace :) the staff is very courteous just amazing service. Its very far from where I live but I would definitely come here once in a while

The chicken is great, and a friend got the eggplant and loved it, but the goat didnt impress us much. There seemed to be a difference in getting a 5 on the goat, and a 5 on the chicken. All in all Id say that we liked about ½ of what we ordered. I would go back again, and just get the chicken.

Ive had a lot of good Indian food all over the US, but I think this may be my favorite. Im a sucker for good korma, and boy, does Mint Leaf deliver. Prices are fairly reasonable. The venue can get a bit cramped due to the seating arrangements, but the food was good enough to focus my attention.

This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant. Of you want more authentic food, youll have to drive 25 miles south to Little India. Lamb vindaloo is A+. Who am I kidding? Everything here is absolutely delicious. Quick tip: make reservations. This place fills up fast.

Food was good, no complaints. But their services were down or something, so people were waiting 30-60 minutes for their pickup order. Also, I was charged twice for my order, so Im working with them and my credit card company to cancel the second charge.

(I do not consider an expert in Indian food, even if I really like it) I went there once alone and second time with friends. Had a great time, great food. Good portions. On certain days, I suggest you make a reservation.

Food is good but the menu is fairly overpriced being that there arent too many Indian restaurants in the area. Service is slow and takes a while to get the food, but the overall a good place to eat.

Food was fantastic, great attention to the flavor and preparation. I did take out , but they did great with the small space they have to work with in there as well. New go to Indian spot!
