Dear Eiropane, Thank you for being an asset to the community, and providing a benchmark for excellence in the bakeryindustry. Indeed, we at A Noise Within share your commitment to community service. I am writing on behalf of A Noise Within Theatre in Pasadena. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit classical theatre company founded in 1992, and have won accolades from Mayor Bill Bogaard and Time Out magazine, whose readers voted us “best of” in Los Angeles County. Every year A Noise Within Theater Company works towards promoting classical theatre as an essential means for our community to confront the universal experience, expand personal awareness, and challenge individual perspectives. Programs such as our Classics Live! (which reaches out to over 12,000 deserving middle- and high-school students each year) and our Adopt-a-Bus plan are made possible by the generous support of companies such as Europane. As part of our spring season, we will have three adult educational programs on April 12, 25, & May 2, 2015. Patrons will mingle with other theatre fans-and enjoy an informal dinner between performances of The Threepenny Opera and Julius Caesar. Refreshments will be served entr’acte. We ask your kindness in donating refreshments, possibly in the form of your fabulous fruit salads or exceptional sandwiches. We will acknowledge your donation by utilizing our marketing and publicity materials in order to inform our patrons of your outstanding organization. Thank you for your time and generosity. Sincerely, A Noise Within California’s Home for the Classics

Euro Pane brings a level of sophistication to the Pasadena bakery scene that is sorely needed. I was just in yesterday, Valentines Day, and purchased some heart-shaped chocolate pound cakes made with almond paste which were beautifully executed with a deep, rich and amazingly flavorful taste. Wonderful! I often have their streudel, one of my fave raves, and have never been disappointed. Mornings at Euro Pane it is my go to breakfast and is invariably first rate, crammed with delicately spiced fruit, enveloped in a rich crispy dough. Excellent, always. Their macarons (French for button) are Parisian quality - as good as anything we tasted on a recent trip to Paris or better, and far less expensive than anything there or here. Try the salted caramel, chocolate or pistachio. Absolutely divine! Finally, Euro Pane is alone as far as I know in putting real, freshly roasted, sliced turkey on their turkey sandwiches, instead of processed sandwich meat. What a difference. As to cost - well you get what you pay for. Euro Pane gives you freshly baked, artisanal quality pastries and breads which are pretty much nonexistent in Pasadena, or for that matter, Los Angeles County. For what you get, the price is right.

If you recently visited this place and paid with debit or credit card, you should check your statement because they wont tell you. They charged me and my friend twice on the same visit. I found it out 2 weeks after the visit and its been over 2 more weeks since manager there said he would fix it in three days and let me know by phone. Problem is not fixed yet and I never got any call from him. Their food was ok but customer service. Id say its a fraud that they took more money from my account than they served using my card information. Even worse, not trying to fix it.

I love this place - the food is consistently superb - worth every penny and then some, and the staff is always so upbeat, friendly and efficient. And, if you enjoy pastries - it is The Place To Go - Europane does not even know how to make a sugar-laden glob - its pastries are light and flaky (in a good way!), and sugar is used with discretion - what you actually taste when you order a fruit pastry is the fruit, first and foremost. Their pozole soup is outstanding, and they make the best BLTs ever. Wonderful eatery!

Croissant, 4/5. The croissant was solid. It was slightly crispy, flaky, and buttery. It also had a great shine and brownness to it; not burnt but browned properly. Macarons, 4/5. The ganache filling was smooth and not overly sweet. The filling to cookie ratio was also right. The macarons were also very smooth, light, flavorful, and chewy. The macaron is a bit bigger than normal so it was chewy, but not as much bite as other ones Ive had. Overall an excellent macaron

I almost swooned after eating the first bite of Croque Monsieur. This delicious piece of yumminess left me yearning for more. Europan quickly became my go-to place for Saturday brunch. If I didnt have such a busy schedule, I would eat there everyday for breakfast. Other menu options I am dying to try: Portobello Mushroom sandwich (Portobello mushrooms, swiss cheese, red bell peppers, on a freshly baked baguette), Seared Chicken sandwich, and the Croissant Fruit Tart.

Famous for its egg salad, which is delicious but huge. Pastries are hit-or-miss: the almond croissants were disappointing (regular croissants with almonds on top, split open and rather heavy slathered with almond paste), but the "Europane Doughnuts", which are actually traditional Morning Buns with sugar and cinnamon, are generously sized and quite good. They offer a nice assortment of breads to choose for your sandwich. Espresso is good.

Sea salt caramel macarons!! That is all you need to know. Also, try the open-faced egg salad on rosemary currant bread or the chicken salad on sourdough. The lemon bars, the pastries, breads, and I could go on and on. I prefer this location to the one closer to Old Town as it has a more local/neighborhood feel. Yeah Im one of those. This place is a must when you are in Pasadena.

I cant talk about Europane without mentioning their unbelievable French toast - only served on Sat. and Sun. and sometimes sold out by noon. Tasty, mountainous but light slices of baked "eggbread"? with a fruit and cream topping - like nothing Id had in French toast in my life. And yes, the staff are the best. Love this place.

I dunno what Tony R is talking about the breakfast burrito burritos actually usually two to choose from is freaking great. The staff are lovely folks who really seem to want to be part of the fabric of the Soto community. So happy theyre around now, makes the neighborhood a warmer place having them!.

The macaroons are delicious.sandwiches are full of flavor and healthy. The vegetarian sandwich is awesome too. Wish it was a little cheaper but at least it tastes good and is good for me! The one across from Paseo is a little trendier mostly because of the location if you want to go with a friend.

I love this place, and would go more often if it was less expensive, and more on the affordable side, for my wallet at least. But, their Europane Salad is great and is even better when you add a few slices of chicken. And of course, their claim to fame, the Egg Salad Sandwich is delicious.

This place is absolutely fabulous - I would give it six stars if I could! They are obviously taking great care in the food they prepare - everything was delicious, from the pastries we tried to the breakfast sandwich. The place itself was spacious and full of light. Nice coffee too.

Love this place. First, usually busy but everyone is very nice. Two things Ive tried. First, the egg salad open faced sandwich is very good. Love it. Second, the Mediterranean sandwich is also good. Depends on your mood but both are very good. Cant go wrong at this place.
