After seeing so many Excellent reviews, we thought wed ck it out. When we showed up, the employee saw us but was talking on her personal cell phone and told us to wait. After a little while, the employee came and took our order. She brought out my husbands drink but not mine and also didnt bring out the chips & salsa. Her boyfriend or husband showed up and asked if she was able to leave and a minute later she left while still looking at her cell phone and texting. About 15 - 20 minutes later when our food was ready, a lady from the kitchen brought out our food and realized the 1st employee who already left never brought my drink or the chips / salsa. She brought our missing things out. The food was quite good. We had an enchilada, chille relleno, and tamales. If we lived in the area we might consider calling in an order for pick up but wouldnt return to eat in; mostly because of that 1st employee who was more interested in living her personal life while doing her job on the side.

This is by far my favorite place to have lunch in Oroville. (Not just the best mexican food, THE BEST FOOD IN OROVILLE ) I love the special care to the ingredients, and you can tell they cook like they care, which is missing in most restaurants nowadays. Try the Carne Asada Taco and the rice and beans are a must!! The combo plates have 2 huge tacos and include rice and beans - plan on spending around $10 per person, but its a huge plate and I cant ever finish so I usually just get 1 taco instead of 2.

I was really disappointed in this visit, I got my tacos which were really good but service was slow. It took an hour for my husband to get his burrito as they made a mistake by making the wrong one. So he never got to eat it as it was to late. So what we thought was going to be a nice sit down lunch was not. Other visits have been better, food always seems to be good. Just dont be in a hurry if you come to this place.

Best Mexican brick & mortar place in Oroville! Maria & her sister does an awesome job keeping up with the crazy lunch orders with the high demand I suggest calling in your order ahead of time but its definitely worth the trip! I recommend the Carnitas burrito, Beef Chimichanga, and Tortas with the fresh made bread!

I spent $12 there on a chili verde (to go) that turned out to be the smallest meal Ive ever seen containing 10 one inch pieces of pork in total with barely any rice or beans on the side. They recently increased their prices and at this point its a total rip off for the amount of food you get. Never going again.

The Place is OK. I really dont think its deserving of the rating it has, in comparison to other places in town where the food is MUCH better for the same price. 3 stars, very mediocre.

Homemade horchata!!! I cant tell you how long its been since I had a real horchata. The service was amazing. Definitely coming back when I visit again.
