To start with I want to say that the customer service was great here. We had a table of 7 people and all of us were seated in a timely manner, had our orders taken, and our food was brought out fast. That is quite a feat in an of itself. The inside is nice as well. Prices are reasonable. I am not quite sure whether or not to be surprised at the lack of authentic Mexican food in this area. On one hand, there is a large influence in the area, and on the other hand, it is a random old farm town. Really, when picking cuisine, you gotta consider the source, the area, etc. Deep down I didnt expect the traditional small tacos. I live in Los Angeles currently, and am quite spoiled when it comes to Mexican food, and I have access to some of the most authentic Carne Asada and fried pork tacos imaginable (without having an Abuela make it for me). That being said, I was disappointed to see "ground beef" as an option for meats, as I know this isnt standard. I chose "shredded beef" tacos with the hopes that this was another way of saying "carne asada." Nope! It was literally shredded beef, but with lettuce, cheese, and tomato. The flour tortilla was fried and crunchy. It was good, but the kind of good that I know either I could make or that is good because it is fatty. Im just more into the small street tacos. I would have loved some more authenticity, spice and something I know I cant do myself. I wanted to like the place, but I just wasnt a fan of the food. There is something on the menu for everyone and the food is relatively safe, so if you have people who want "Mexican," food but cant handle the spice, then this place fits the bill. Service- 5/5 Interior- 4/5 Food- 2/5

Ive been coming here forever, and was never treated as rudely as I was a month ago. I came in alone for lunch, was treated very much like I was not a valued customer when ordering, then was completely ignored by anyone, and I was seated with a full view of the back area where all the servers were! They were standing around doing nothing but gossiping, even the supervisor. My food was not up to Casa Carlos standards as if I was there during the fashionable dinner hour, and the waitress did things I did not want nor asked to be done. She reluctantly refilled my drink once, talking with her coworkers who were all in the far back area grouped up while doing so. Then when I was finished she plopped a to-go cup of my soda in front of me and when I got up to leave looked offended when I didnt take it. She asked if I wanted it and I pointedly said no. She looked embarased, but then looked furious when she looked down at the table and saw no tip, ringing my bill up with a scowl. I have never in my life not tipped anyone, but the service I got was far below par from my lifetime of eating at this estableshment. Help me change my mind Casa Carlos!

Honestly you should be able to know what authentic Hispanic food tastes like if youre going to open up a place like this. Chips were colder than Satans soul and the atmosphere looked more like a low lit Dennys with a Mexican style name. Taco Bell would be wonderful compared to this Americanized "cuisine". Feel free to come and pay for moderately authentic Mexican food for half the quality and none of the authenticity. Go to Ciscos down the road, youll save yourself the feeling of disappointment and probably constipation. The service matched the atmosphere, 200 seats for ten people. Not even any complimentary mints or a toothpick either. For 10 cents you can receive a small mint candy that wouldnt even make a dent in the restaurants budget if given as a complimentary souvenir. Wow. Considering that the hamburgers are better than the actual Mexican food, you can bet that youll be having the best American food a Mexican restaurant can offer.

I have been here a total of 4 times, 3 time for dinner and once for lunch. Had another great dinner here last night. Went again with my mom, step dad, step son, and boyfriend. We all ordered the same thing, my step son ordered the Steak Ranchero, he loved every single bite. Hes a very picky eater, and when he has a clean plate, you know the food is good. Thank you for the great service, lady after lady helping up. One lady would fill our drinks, another bring us napkins, another brought us our food, it was non stop help with service last night. Mom, step dad, and myself enjoyed all our meals. Thanks once again for a great dining experience, and wonderful food. My lunch was so good, and Ill continue to come here with my family.

Average Mexican fare, nothing out of the ordinary. This used to be our go - to Mexican place, (when we were in the mood for good, mild food covered in melted cheese). However, in the past year the portions & drinks seemed to get smaller & the prices went up- a lot. Last time we were there, I ordered a LARGE side of guacomole; I was very disappointed when I got a tiny bowl of mashed avocado- it was definitely not more than a 1/4 cup serving, (less than 1/2 of an avocado), and I had to spice it up myself by pouring salsa on it. My husband was very disappointed when we got the bill & theyd charged us $8 for a couple tablespoons of avocado! Since then, weve been exploring other options for Mexican food in the area...

I was craving MEXICAN food. The service was quick which i loved because i was on my lunch break. They dont have Hortchata (what kind of mexican restaurant does not have Horchata?) The chips were good the salsa was tomato sauce NOTHING SPICY or at lease mild. I got the chicken mole plate which was recommended by the waitress and said was one of their top plates. I did not like it at all. Not real mole, Rice was not Mexican rice and the beans were okay. The tortillas they said were (HECHAS A MANO) they tasted stale. I got seating by the kitchen, it was loud and annoying when the employees would stand around talking. I will make sure i never go to this place again.

Before you read this, notice that most high star ratings here are not Mexicans, Mexicans know real mexican food. Its NOT authentic. Lacks of real mexican food. Its more for those that has never tried real mexican food or those that like American mexican wannabe food. Need to add more authentic and make the menu food more authentic. Did I say that this place needs to be more authentic. We have been there three times. No improvement.

My husband and I stopped in this restaurant while passing through Marysville. This establishment is called casa Carlos fine Mexican dining, But dont be fooled theres nothing fine about it. The food was bland and awfully overpriced. The only reason I gave this restaurant stars is because our waitress was fast and friendly. Her name was Nikki. Find somewhere else to eat!

Lunch specials are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The enchilada and burrito lunch specials, both with ground beef, were really good, especially after you add their salsa. The salsa was super yummy! The margarita was really good too. Alcoholic drinks are priced pretty well, about $5 for a single Margarita, depending on the kind you got.
