The food is great but the bakery counter is pretty nasty because last time when I went in there and there was flies inside the counter and we ask the lady to do something about it but she just say OK and didnt bother to do anything but the butcher place is the best because the butcher cut your meat the way you want it and very helpful! first time,Best Butcher in Town! If anyone looking for a great skill butcher then go to La Esmeralda because they got the best butcher in there.

Today I went into Bulldog Taqueria and ordered 2 super burritos and a burrito bowl. First thing I noticed that none of the workers had gloves on while preparing the burritos. When I got home, while eating my burrito bowl I felt something chewy in my mouth I spit it out and it was a blue rubber band! Its doubtful now that I will be returning to their place of business. I had to heat up the burrito bowl as it was cold. DH had to heat up his burrito as well. Never again!

It took me 10 minutes just to order my food because the workers were sitting around and on their phones it took the owner/manager yelling at them to go around to take my order because he realized how much they angered me and after they took my order they went back to sitting around on their phones, then when I went to go pay for my drink out front it took another 5 minutes just to be able to purchase my drink. This is a place I definitely will not be returning to.

I come here for the burritos, but have been branching out to the other foods offered. While I still love the burritos, the tamales are very good and can easily pass for homemade. If youre looking for authentic Mexican food, youve got to try La Esmeralda.

so rude used to go there once a week for the burritos and other items then they went thru the change of market u order a meat burrito barely any meat had tons of grissle in the meat and the wait staff was so rude wont ever be back!

Their selections of meat are very cheap cuts of meat. The asada had a lot of gristle, and poorly flavored. I just recently order a Chile Verde burrito, and the burrito had more cubes of pure fat than actual pork. Disgusting!

To each its own, I ordered what I wanted which was not on their menu and they nailed it!!! Vegetarian torta, slices of avocado, rice, beans, lettuce and sauces. It was delicious, definitely best in butte county so far.

Went in with my girlfriend and she was happy to find a place that carried stuff she hasnt been able to find since moving from Az. Ohh and the pecan pound cake is awesome it didnt make it to the register .....
