We are in California out of town, and got invited to come eat here a total of 6 of us. First the place is only big enough for 4 people at the table. So we sat at two different tables. It was whatever we really didnt mind. We ordered drinks. (three horchatas and a piña colada and beer) we started drinking the horchata and noticed a funny taste. We asked our very nice and good waitress if we could switch our drinks because of the taste and get pina coladas. She took our drinks and I watched her tell the owner and he tasted the drink and shook his head. He came over and asked what the problem was and I told him we thought the horchata didnt taste right and it tasted like it went bad. He was very rude and argued that we were wrong because they had just made it fresh and I was probably use to drink non good horchata and before I could say anything he walked away pissed. Our waitress apologized over and over for the rude behavior he showed. After that I wanted to leave and go to the taco bell right by it but we got invited so I stuck it t through. That is now how you treat clients and would be better off at taco bell. If I could I would give them 0 stars. The food wasnt that great either. The only good thing was the waitress she was very nice.

Initial feeling walking in was "dirty." The kitchen looked dirty and the man who was working the register was trying to charge more than posted menu prices. He claimed to be the owner and was very unfriendly and a bit tacky eating from a large cup with soup in it while he rang patrons up. Took the food home, ate it and all I can say is, you get what you pay for. They have low prices and their food is not appetizing. Their salsa bar was a mess! It was like no one had the time to come out and wipe and clean the area. If you like eating and having your food prepared in a clean environment, this is not the place for you. If price point is of importance and you like below average food, then you may want to check this place out. "I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND."

On a street full of a multitude of Mexican choices, you cant go wrong at Gads. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and salsa choices a plenty; this is the place you want to go to where the food isnt as questionable as some of the other Equestrians here.I chowed down on the Language Super Nachos. This was suppose to be a half meal but I couldnt stop munching. Whatever, thats what living in the city and walking around is all about. Great flavor and plenty of meat to go around, I was definitely not left hungry. Come by and get some comfy Mexican food by the friendly wait staff. Worth it as a change of pace to across the street.

Quite the taste. This place is tough to locate.. hidden in the back, but worth the find. Hint: Taco Bell is on the corner... go figure lol Tacos Jaliscos is my favorite Mexican Food in all of Orange and most of Orange County. (The others are my hidden gems lol) The carne asada is best eaten hot. The carnitas chile verde plate always fills me up and has the perfect sauce to light up your evening. If that wasnt enough the salsa bar has more choices for whatever Im in the mood for. Highly recommend to anyone looking to satisfy that authentic Mexican Food urge =)

Used to love this place but my recent vist a few days ago will be my last. Place was almost empty with 4 servers working. Still had to seat myself as they were to busy chatting. Ordered a taco and burrito. Carnitas meat in taco was very good just wasnt much in it. My burrito was good sized but 90% beans. I could barely find and could not taste the carne asada. Prices have gone up and at $6.75, this (bean) burrito was not worth it. 3 stars only because the carnitas is good. Very disappointed in the direction of this place.

This place is horrible when we walked in we were not greeted at all we actually had to greet ourselves. The drinks sucked big time and the food well we half of our party didnt even eat cause we were so disgusted.. Only two people ate and had tacos and the bill came out to almost 50 dollars really come on ... Were done with this place so good luck to others but we do not recommend this place its horrible .

Every time... Never a disappointment. Delish food, good ambiance and just enough beer selection. I take back my 4 stars... They have a new menu. Long and complicated. And they seem to not know how to spell sauce. Anyhow... On todays adventure to Tacos Jaliscos, its hotter in this restaurant than it is outside. Worst of all they messed up my order. Two stars for you. I feel like in sitting in a damn sauna.

Food is good. If you want great...travel to downtown Orange and eat at Jalapenos. Be watchful. This place will give you a free basket of chips and salsa and will continue to bring you refills. Then you get your bill and realize they charged you a $1 for each refill without asking. But for $5.00 you can get two chicken enchiladas with rice and beans.

Been eating there since grade school! 10 years ago I realized that they dont give you free chips unless youre Latino or speak Spanish. They can do what they want, but I avoid spending my money at my favorite Mexican place because thats just racist. It makes me wonder whether they charge me more for being white since their prices arent posted.

We have been. Eating here since it was established. The food is great and true Mexican. The owner and his waitresses are friendly, service is great and especially the prices. The place is old but not dirty. We have tried nearly everything on the menue and have never been disappointed.

The food is good, but the service is not fair because they charge to Latin people for the chips and free for the white people, also they charge extra money in order to go, and change the prices from internet, and the waitresses are not friendly.

Good food, great prices, big portions. Atmosphere isnt very inviting or comfortable, and the service is generally unfriendly for me unless I bring Spanish-speaking friends. Highly recommended, though. I like the chicken chimichanga.

This is good quality authentic Mexican food. I drive all the way here from Huntington Beach to eat their pollo gratinado, a killer chicken plate smothered in tasty green sauce and melted cheese. Make tacos out of it...yummy!
