When rating burger joints, CONTEXT is key. My absolute favorite burgers are from Sides in Los Olivos and Urban Grill in Foothill Ranch. However, they come with a hefty price and an upscale ambiance. That being said, for the price (around $10 for the delectable Nashville BBQ or Smokey) and the upbeat atmosphere, Burger Parlor offers a five star burger experience that has me coming back time and time again. Besides their great burgers, outrageous Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, and Beer-battered & Hand-dipped Onion Rings (OMG), I highly recommend their shakes - my faves are both the Nutella Banana and Capn Crunch. All this, and their rotating selection of great beers, is all you need to satisfy your next burger craving. On a side note, I never respond to other reviewers who disagree with my POV, but I just have to wonder what in blazes a scant few killjoys are thinking? Yes, to each his own (and Ive met people who also find fault with Hawaii), but one would think that somewhere in their heart they might realize that regardless of their critical take that their experience is more of an anomaly than the standard by which the rest of the world prizes something of great value. The Burger Parlor, in context, is definitively worth every star of the five it has earned. PS - join their mailing list and youll get five more burgers not on the regular menu - just wait till you bite into the Mahon!

To be honest I was quite upset after my visit to burger parlor for the first time. I walked in and no one seemed to acknowledge I was even there. When I got to the cash register to order, two immature teenagers were laughing hysterically on the ground and frantically got up after realizing I was waiting to order. He asked me "what do you want". Id never been here before and the menu was quite confusing but he failed to assist me with anything. After dropping 14 dollars on just a plain burger and a shake, (NO FRIES INCLUDED) I expected a product of high quality, but thats not what I received. If you intend to eat a burger fries and have a drink be prepared to spend close to 20!dollars!! The burger was small and not very enjoyable compared to many burger places in Orange. Other employees were eating at the bar and watching tv which I thought was very unprofessional. Overall it was ridiculously overpriced, unprofessional, and non satisfactory. Im sorry burger parlor but I certainly will not return and I hope nobody else does.

The staff is friendly. However, it seems like every time we go here something goes wrong. Fries get forgotten, burgers have missing or extra ingredients or sloppily prepared. Last time chopped lettuce was everywhere but on the burger. Why cant I just get ONE large piece of lettuce on my burger instead of keep having to pick it up off the plate to eat it? When you pay $10 for a burger in a casual place you expect it to be really good. Sign out front says "Voted best burger in O.C." IMHO not even in the top 5. I would really like to be able to say this place is great because I live close by. However, in all honesty, I would rather drive 25 minutes to go to Burger LOUNGE. That is truly the best burger in O.C. under $10.

While the staff were super nice, the value for the dollar is very poor. Burgers are child sized (think 60% of big Mac Patty) and the price is high. Small burger and double the price makes this place 4 times too expensive. Of course where are they?.....near a very expensive University filled with priveledged kids whose parents make too much money and pay all their kids bills;which explains the holier than thau attitude most of the kids have. Plus its amongst "antique" shops selling things barely 25 years old at prices only Trump can afford. Over all, if price is no concern, youll love this place. If you are not wanting to spend a car payment on a hamburger meal than look elsewhere.

My first time at this fast casual burger place and we had a good experience. The limited menu offers several burgers, sandwiches, salads and a vegetarian option. The sides are limited to various fries and onion rings. My smokey burger was spot on with flavorful beef and nice bacon along with some crispy onions. The bun is soft, yet firm to handle the juicy burger. The baked potato fries were their regular fries topped with cheese, sour cream and scallions. Add a local beer and its a really nice meal.

Really wonderful food. Make sure to check the daily special. Thursday was a lamb burger. It was fantastic. Our large party wound up ordering almost one of everything. Not a bad item on the list. The lettuce wrapped burgers were the best ever. And the staff were all very friendly and service oriented. Expert tip: walk through to the back and sit outside.

Really is best burger in town. They cook them perfectly. Provide huge portions of fries too. Staff is very friendly. There is outdoor seating for dogs and they will even bring a water bowl out for the pups. They also have special sauces. Try the parlor ketchup, its there own special recipe!

First time here.... But will be back. I had the Kali and thought it was a great burger with good flavor cooked perfect and all the different flavor a complimented one another great! The staff was nice enough... but I think they should greet better when entering and leaving the parlor.

Burgers are well crafted and ingredients are fresh. Beer selection is slim but the ones being poured complement anything you order from their menu. Staff is friendly and attentive regardless of how busy they are. Food comes out fast and will not disappoint.
