Great place to grab a cuppa joe no joke. Couple of tables out front for warmer days with a bike rack. Parking lot is small, but the street often have a spot without looking hard. Conveniently located within minutes of JLS and lake merritt Bart. During the holidays theyve seasonal flavors such as eggnob, peppermint. You really cant go wrong here as coffee baristas are consistent with their skills.

This is the place where Peerless roasts their beans that are sold all over the West coast. They have a retail store with a historic feel. Prices are lower than what is found at the supermarket and sometimes the beans are still warm from roasting. In the mornings, they have a barista window. There are some cafe tables outside and they have 2 small parking lots that never seem to get full.

I had the good fortune to try some Peerless coffee on a road trip recently.....Now, none of the coffee I used to buy "does it for me" any more....Just wish I could find it in Reno, Nevada...my home base. It truly is the best....the real "star" of taste and boldness.....

Peerless coffee has some of the best coffee on the planet. They used to have a variety of coffee mugs and brewing devices and candy, which was great because they were unique. This email cute items are gone but the great coffee is still available .

Quick and efficient service when you walk up to the outside and knowledgeable expanded service in the retail shop. I bet you could park get your coffee and get back on the road faster than you can say venti frappuccino any day.
