This place requires a reservation, without reservations they turn you away at the door because they only serve until 8 oclock each day and they only open at 5 oclock and each meal takes about 2 hours. Therefore they can only serve 2 reservation per table. When you first arrived he would notice the place is pretty small but pretty well decorated. It kind of has a rustic feel to it. A lot of old mementos on the wall like an old radio and classic artists is cassettes. It was a omesake style place, so set meun and set price. 65 dollars for an eight course meal is a steal. To my surprise everything on the meun tasted delicious, there was not a thing I can complain about expect if you girl walking by and decided to go and you will be turned away. The service was consistent and good. She explained what the dishes were and what they were prepared with. My favorite was the duck dish. Overall I had a very delightful evening , if you are a big eater you would definitely need to find another place to fill up but for me it was just right amount of food.

Delage is so good its almost infuriating. How can the food be so good at such a low price point (for omakase at this level, anyway; $65 is still a decent amount to throw down for one meal)?! Im still not sure, but go for the stellar sushi and the fun, more Western-leaning elements of your course meal. When I went I was pleasantly surprised by some of the nigiri Ive never had before (blueback sprat and barracuda, for instance). The least successful dish in my mind was the pork tenderloin (though in general Im not a huge fan of lean pork), but even that dish had an interesting pairing of a mushroom sauce and a cranberry-apple puree. I do wish Delage wouldnt serve the seriously overfished bluefin, though. But damn was that chutoro good.

This place is so good that I find myself making reservations months in advanced. Came here on the first day of opening in 2016 when Masa was teaching his students. Workers are attentive and engaging whether it be water refills or taking away silverware. After a course is handed over, a brief description is given in a professional tone of voice. Never a rush for me to hurry up and chef didnt make next course too early or late. Overall fabulous presentation with the right amount of contents and a well-balanced course. Its a delight to sit and watch in oohs and aahs of omakase chefs at work. They never failed me yet, so I hope when March arrive things will be the same or exceeds previous experiences.

Simply an amazing place, they could easily charge double and it would still be considered reasonable. I typically prefer nigiri omakases, but the non-nigiri portions of their omakase were all excellent and Id happily do it again. Everything was fresh and there were quite a few inventive items. They had an additional item (3oz Toro dish) that day which I got and was happy I did.

My go to place for high quality Japanese food and its a very good value for omakase. They change menu frequently. Ive been here for 7-8 times and Im always satisfied with the food. You will need to reserve online in advance, but I walked in once and luckily my husband and I got bar seats. Highly recommend to everyone.

Great service. Menu offerings not so much. Stick with sushi, maki and sashimi-that was good, everything else disaster! With exception of the last soup. Peice of advice from industry fellow that had worked in Michelin restaurants. Youre trying too hard. Corn salad? Tomato jello? Amuse Bouche? Just skip it!

As the other reviews say, the food here is seasonal, fresh and delicious. Dishes and flavors are well balanced. My concern is the rest of the experience. Front of house comes across as inexperienced and error prone, and although the decor is great, the acoustics make for hard to hear conversation.

We went here for our anniversary. It was everything we wanted and more. The 8 course meal was perfectly timed. The servers were extra accommodating and helpful. I can. It believe the food that comes out of this small establishment. Big flavor and high quality. $65 well spent.
