When you drive into a place and a banner placed outside the restaurant says "We fill your pots: Pozole and Menudo," that sounds like a place for me. Mr. Rosewood bills itself as a family restaurant but its more than that. I came for lunch with a friend who has eaten here many times with his family. He recommended a bowl of the 50-50: half pozole, half menudo, in one bowl. The soup was excellent. And they fill the table with bowls of onions, cabbage, cilantro and lemon wedges to let you customize your bowl. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Enjoyable meal at a place just off the 605 on Rosecrans Avenue.

I ordered the menudo about half way threw my soup I found a slimy bug with legs in my soup asked what else I wanted said no thank you an that wouldnt be eating pancakes my mother just ordered either instead of taking care of our meal they just took off my soup an said that maybe the bug fell from the ceiling wasnt cooked in the soup everyone was nice but at end of the day I had a damn nasty ass bug with legs in my soup an still had to pay

Will not re-visit. My family and I went around 7:30 pm and there was only one other family in the restaurant. The halibut was bland, the garlic toast was hard and the waitress brought us our reciept and didnt asked if we wanted dessert. I could understand if the place was crowded. But only 2 small families. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Service is outstanding. It was our first time and the manager had us try a little bit of some of their famous dishes (i.e. 50/50). The food was delicious and my husband loved their menudo (he is a foodie). We happened to stumble upon this little place because we missed the 105 fwy entrance. Highly recommend this place!

I went today and asked the hostess with blonde bleached her if it was the same Rosewood in Paramount and she had the nerve to lie.. And the carne asada nachos were not good the meat no flavor canned beans.. It wouldnt of mattered if the food was good.. But she lied and the food was DRY TASTELESS

Mr. Rosewoods food and service are exceptional. Our waiter name was Jonathan and he was very courteous and checked on us several times. Ill definitely go back there the next time Im in town. I give Mr. Rosewoods at 10+ over all. The 5 stars ratings they have here is not nearly enough.

The service was great. I ordered Posole it was pretty good considering this is not a Mexican restaurant. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because I have had better tasting Posole at other restaurants and their tortillas were cold when they served them.

Im glad that they are back in the neighborhood. They are friendly, the food is great and the price is right for the amount of food you get. Im glad there is no bar. We need to have less in neighborhood.
