This review is way overdue, but better late than never. Everyone has to know about this place, it is a must to try on any day or if you are cruising thru. The biggest reason for this review is the staff. They were all very patient and explained everything to us as far as the menu goes, the beer selection, and the items that are a must to try. The person that stood out and made our night was a girl named Roxy, who was on staff that day to help out the location and was usually at the Encino location. She took the time to help my wife out with her dinner decision due to her having a hard time being 6 months pregnant. Roxy was also amazing with my 2 daughters, ages 6 and 12. Very few places have a team like this, especially as busy as they were. The food is amazing, all quality ingredients made your way. I had the "O DOG", and upgraded the meat to a kosher wiener and it was phenomenal. The flavor is a one of a kind, and the corn salsa topped it to perfection, you must try it with everything. My wife had the southwest salad and she absolutely loved it. The beer selection is also something to rave about as they have 10 plus beers on tap and most if not all were microbreweries. I have not been to the other location, but based on our visit to this one alone we will visit the others anytime we are near. This is now one of our favorite eats!

Perhaps obvious advice, but do not go to The Stand if you are vegetarian. The Stands veggie burger is literally, hands down, the worst in Los Angeles: Picture a hard clump of rice, fried to a blackened crisp, stuck between two slices of bread. Yeah: A carb sandwich. Whoever made this recipe either has literally never met a vegetarian person before or perhaps had a stroke and temporarily forgot what a burger was. (Reminder: savory protein goes in the middle. Carbohydrates on the outside. Whether the protein comes from animal tissue or plant tissue, its the exact same deal.) Anyway: Im sure this place is fine if you eat the dead animals or whatever. And, on the positive side, The Stand would also be a great place for a vegetarian to do some culinary "Disaster Tourism" -- where youre deliberately seeking the most disgusting veggie burger you can find in order to remember what it was like to be vegetarian in some city other than LA where nobody gives a f*** about vegetarians.

I had lunch here with my gf and the food was outstanding. Great vibe, and the tall African American from Chicago made our day, let us sample The El Capitan Burger And the Southwestern Chicken sandwich I believe it was called, and it was boooooomb. I forgot to get his name. Quick shout out to him for hooking us up with that delicious burgers Frys and the desert was amazing brownie with ice cream and whip cream with chocolate drizzle was the icing to the cake. Thanks again man. Definitely come try this place. Munchies satisfied

I tried this place out and its a pretty solid burger spot. The place seems very modern and hip. They have a very good selection of burgers and hot dogs, as well as having the option of making custom ones. I tried the Ultimate Egg and Chili Fries and they both were really good. Although, everything is a la carte so there arent any combos and you will have to buy fries separately on the side. Another plus is they have a decent selection of beer on tap.

I really like this place, but there are little to no vegetarian options. They have one burger and its incredibly messy. I really wish they had their nutritional information available anywhere, including their website. Staff is very friendly. Sign up for their card and save 5% every time you make a purchase.

Perfect place for a quick bite and a beer. Usually stop by around 3 and its not common to find it busy. Food never disappoints and staff is really helpful. Recommend the cilantro lime chicken sandwich with whatever good ipa they have.

Great service the staff is super attentive and thoughtful. The food is just as good as the service. My family and I love everything on the menu from the burgers, dogs, fries and the Brussels sprouts (plain) are fantastic!

Come to The Stand in Northridge. Top notch service and bomb food. Living in California I am accustomed to rude customer service. Not here!! Moe has amazing customer service. I was literally shook!

Definitely one of my favorite burger places. The ABC burger cooked medium rare is a must! The burger patty is so juicy but the avocado, bacon, and cheddar really compliment the overall flavor.
