First time today. The apple strudel was almost as good as the one Aunt Olga use to make from Great Grandma Reginas recipe. Just made a sandwich with the pumpernickel, Munster, and braunsweiger. This is the real deal. The imported swiss was even aged. Cant wait to try the sausages. Sampled the farmer ham and it is well smoked and not water pumped. I will be a regular. 4 stars because they dont have weisswurst or erdinger dunkel.

This is my go to lunch spot in Van Nuys. The owner was very friendly fellow, and the sandwiches are simple and good. I get a beer some times, or shots of underbergs and often I get the German style potato salad. Yum. Hope to see everyone there because its a good business to have, quick and affordable.
