I really like the Country Deli. It has a very mom and pop feel and is the perfect place for this corner of the valley. I have never had a pastrami sandwich better than the one at The Country Deli. They definitely do not skimp on the pastrami and the rye bread is always fresh and delicious. I always add swiss cheese to my pastrami sandwich and it really is the icing on the cake. They have plenty of choices for sides but I always get french fries, just because that seems like a typical pastrami side dish. The fries are thick and perfectly cooked. The Country Deli also has an amazing display of desserts at the front. It is hard to pass any of them up. It is an unreal selection of what seems like hundreds of different baked goods. I usually order food to-go and the staff is always friendly with me. And, when I stop in, the times I have eaten there the service has always been great. The Country Deli has been here for years and is a great staple of the northwest valley. Every time I have taken someone here, weve all always had a great time and the food has always been amazing, which is why I keep coming back. I have been to a number of delis around LA and The Country Deli tops them all, including the "legendary" Canters Deli in LA. If youre looking for a great deli, in my opinion, The Country Deli is the best.

We have driven by so many times and commented we should try it. We had the opportunity to go for breakfast today. First impression was great. A wide variety of food. I ordered the scrambled eggs and home made sausage patty with home style potatoes. Portions were large, food was fresh. These werent frozen potatoes from a bag! My husband had the breakfast skillet and it was full of meat and veggies. The place itself is a little dated but extremely clean. There was an employee with a bucket of water and he was cleaning the entire chair including wiping down the legs. Not just a quick wipe with a rag, a nice cleaning of the entire chair. The restroom was very clean as well. We will go back!

First trip here, has great reviews but my first experience was terrible. Came in, ordered a turkey club wrap no avo no dressing to go. The counter girl wrote it down right, i saw it. My order came up, i grabed it and left to head to the other end of the valley. Go to my destination, hungry, and disappointed. Plenty of avo and dressing. Allergic to avo.... came back said it was wrong, same counter girl said i never said "no avo"... til she found the recipt. Said, "oh, guess you did." Normally, they get a second chance. Having the counter girl call me a lier. No chance..

Every year, for the past 10+ years, as we visit our family in Chatsworth we get to enjoy a week of breakfast at the Country Deli. The food is great and the service continues to be outstanding. Jesus, Ricardo, Teri, and Lisa treat us like family, and we very much appreciate the attention provided by them and the rest of the staff. Honestly, the food here is nearly always good. They have good breakfast options..actually I would recommend their breakfast over their dinners. They do have good salads, their sandwiches are okay. Many of their desserts are from Beas Bakery. On the downside: pricing is a little higher compared to other delis. More importantly, although the majority of the waitresses and staff are pretty good and friendly.

Outstanding place to get a meal and meet the local people. The staff are friendly people and the food is excellent! I would only hope I could find a place like this near my neighborhood. If I were to rate this establishment on a "ten star" rating, they would get it! Be hungry and have an empty stomach...they serve up a superior meal. Love you Guys and Gals!!!!!

Similar to Brents deli, family owned and operated. Ive only come here for breakfast and you may have to wait a bit but thats typical. Service is good and the food really hits the spot. One of my favorite breakfast plates is their steak and eggs. The marinade they use for the steak makes it taste really good.

If I could Id give it zero stars. Ive been going to this place for 14 years. If I dont go in with a man Im treated horribly by the old woman at night who wears too much hairspray and by the young man who works up front seating people. Never going back. Done! Brents and Henris will get my business now.

The food is great and in large quantities so I like to take leftovers home for later. While they do not have discounted prices like the Major Chains. The quality of the food is very good, so its worth every penny. They are respectful to others. I always love to stop here when I am in town.
