I have to be honest Ive never even eaten at your restaurant I recently moved to Van Nuys 4 months ago from South Orange County I have to be honest Ive never even eaten at your restaurant and Im going to give you 5 stars just because Ive never seen so many 5 stars in so many amazing, Cummins from previous and old customers. Ive been out here for 4 months and Ive only found one place so far that I can say has really good food and amazing fish tacos and Ive been missing Orange County because I have several restaurants that I love and by the way that play some talking about is Titos Tacos. But today on my way to my audition Im going to stop by your Deli and try your food because my mouth is so watery I cant wait to try your guyses food and if its as good as everyone is saying is and I have a hard time believing that they all are lying I will come back on and give you guys a comment for every single item that I try and read it until I get through your whole menu I signed a 12-month lease so I have another seven to eight months to get through your menu before I decide whether or not Im going to stay or move back to Orange County. So my name is Ben beers and I cant wait to try your food and as for the guy that copy that Yelp and posted somebody elses review get a life had a job and trying to be honest for a change why would you even try and post something to ruin someone elses business but I think youll have a hard time doing considering youre the only one with a bad review that wasnt even yours. Ill see you guys in about 30 minutes my audition is in North Hollywood at 4:40 well honey Im gonna probably stop in around 3:30 cant wait...

Not quite, "Ooooohhh and Aaaawwww." Ill give them the "aaawww" for the kick ass spinach cal zone that rocked me for lunch today, but they earn an "eeeeewww" for cleanliness and overall vibe. Its a huge space with uncomfortable, unattractive seating and metal shelves that hold gigantic cans of various foods, including over sized Campbells minestrone soup. What the hell? Do they heat that stuff up and serve it to customers? I was confused. Im new to LA and have to say this place is sort of bizarre and slightly depressing, just like most places Ive experienced in the San Fernando Valley (no offense, Valley-dwellers....I think its just an acquired taste....Im trying to keep an open mind). Go for the cal zone, but take it to go! Oh, and for your poultry-lovers out there, I have heard that they serve up some delicious chicken noodle soup. Could it be a doctored-up version of Campbells? Possibly.

i love to eat... good food. usually for lunch i grab a quick burger or burrito or subway sandwich, but today i was feelin something different, something higher-quality, and maybe more homemade tasting... anyway, today i tried the Roma deli and it was amazing! huge menu from hot/cold sandwiches, pasta dinners, an fresh-made deli salads - all at really reasonable prices. i had a french dip (ordered a large thinking leftovers... no leftovers) an it came with super-crispy skinny fries and a drink for $8.xx. I cant wait to go back and try more stuff. as i was paying, the dude told me they had been there for 62 years! With prices, taste, and quality being so good, im sure they"ll be there 62 more! Thanks Roma!

Nice little sandwich shop if you want that old school feel. The fruit salad was very fresh. The tortellini pasta salad was a little lacking in flavor I felt. It was a MADHOUSE at the lunch hour, the girl who took my order probably shouldnt have as I watched a few orders go before one of the workers had to go put a little fire under her buns. :/ When I finally got my sandwich I felt things were off. I had asked for no salad dressing on my sandwich and was given only mustard on my sandwich, no mayo lol. Needless to say, I probably wont be in hurry to return here anytime soon, as the sandwich (Honey Turkey) was just okay, fresh, but just okay. Also the parking is a bit of a hassle so youve been warned!

If you are searching for a unique non-tourist, off-strip, authentic Italian deli restaurant experience go visit Roma. Terrific sandwiches, awesome pastas, authentic & rustic ingredients in a simple setting with really friendly service. You can also find great pastas, sauces and other authentic Italian food items for sale. An unexpected gem of an experience in the city of sensory overload. Simple, genuine and just good food & service. We will find it again during our next LA trip.

This deli has a wide variety of menu items: hot & cold sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, salads, and more. The food quality is great. The service is friendly and fast, but there can be waits if you come during the rush. There can be five people ordering and also several large orders being prepared for delivery. There is a lunch sandwich special that is my favorite. If youre nearby, you have to try this place. Youll be back, believe me.

My husband and I returned last night for our second visit and I am happy to report, it was better than our first! The service was exceptional. My husband ordered the gnocchi and I ordered a caesar salad and the ROMA DELI. Everything was so tasty. As a note, cork fee is ONLY $5! Bring your own wine and they will give you glasses and pour it too. We really love this place and am so glad they are in our neighborhood.

It so nice to see a classic family owned restaurant doing so well for so long, thats how you know its going to be great! It also helps seeing all the locals going there again and again. Pro tip follow the people who know best, the ones who drive all over the city and could go anywhere, police, fire dept, and community service members know whats good. And if youre reading this you should know too!

Excellent place in every aspect: restaurant cleanliness, plenty of seating for family dining out, superior customer care, and last but not least amazing food!!! We ordered the pepperoni stuffed pizza calzone. Portions are generous and very fair pricing. Looking forward to my next visit!

Awesome veggie breakfast sandwich option, and super healthy brunch options. Love the small store local deli feel. The oddest and best item, now. Ot on the menu, but theyll make it for you if you ask for breakfast potatoes made the old way with the marinara.

Ive been coming here for over 25 years and I have always enjoyed their food. I have had there meatball sandwich, their italian sausage and meatball sandwich as well as their crab salad. I really liked them. So I highly recommend this Restaurant.

I love this place. EVERYTHING is delicious, and the prices are unbelievable (in a good way!!) In particular, I like the lasagna and the Imported Prosciutto Sandwich. Its family-owned and the staff is very friendly and prompt. Check it out!
