Finally made it here and to boot, I got to try it during OCRW. The menu for OCRW was small but we were able to try their fig burger and club sammie. For side, we got the fries and the fritters. For $10, it was quite good. I have to say the Fig burger was small but packs a punch in flavor! It was cooked perfect and has a hint of goat cheese. Juicy and flavorful. Might have to go back again just for this burger! The club sandwich was fresh and the bacon is thick and crunchy just the way I like it. The fries were a bit too salty but the fritters were amazing. They had pineapple sculpin on draft when I was there but I didnt get a chance to order it. Their condiments are plenty (love it!) and its right next to the fountain drink dispenser. The only gripe I have is that you need a key to the bathroom (which I understand totally for beach cities) and the wait for that takes longer than to get your food. For parking, if you dont want to park next to the pier which can be crazy on weekends...park around the hood and look for street parking. Its free and just a bit of a walk, just got to know where to go.

Please read, share and encourage your friends to boycott this place. #DoryDeli has the most horrendous customer service Ive ever heard of. After a family members order was lost and they waited 30 minutes to ask where it was, the employee found it and re-heated it. Not wanting a $10 re-heated sandwich, they refused the sandwich and requested a refund. The manager denied the refund and the company is now slandering their name, saying they were trying to get free food - when they didnt even accept the order, let alone eat it. I work customer service for a living and Ive never seen a company argue a refund with a customer, let alone out right accuse a customer of trying to get free food. Im astounded. Shame on Dory Deli. Own your employees mess up and make it right. Look at all the bad publicity your company name is taking over a $10 sandwich. Dont pay with cash, as they refuse refunds they dont feel are substantiated. If you can, pay with your CC - that way you can at least work with your bank to dispute the charge.

Menu is usually between$10-15, so its not the cheapest but the flavour and product quality isworth it. Pros: - Spectacular flavours in the dish. Consistent and very well executed in general. - Different areas where you can sit in a bar or sit in a booth with your buddies. Its a small place, which is a pro and a con at the same time. - Clean place and bathrooms. - Nice, friendly staff. - Variety of drinks available. Beer, wine, water, soft drinks, tea, etc. Cons: - It smelled pretty bad at the entrance. - I ordered a sandwich and somehow was expecting a little bit more than a piece of cucumber as a side dish. -The chicken felt a tiny bit raw. Not completely raw, but they definitely missed a couple of minutes more in the cooking.

We had lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and it was awesome. If youre a fan of Caesar Salad, try their Kale Caesar Salad. Instead of romaine lettuce, it has baby kale, dry tomatoe, and croutons. It had just the right amount, and very tasty. Their Pistol Petes pastrami sandwich was awesome too, without being greasy. And their Pineapple Sculpin Beer intrigued us, and we had to try it. You wont be disappointed. A great place to have a bite when youre at Newport Beach.

This place was a local treat but unfortunately became a tourist trap. As a place we used to go to ever other weekend has become over priced. Took my family here talking about how great the food was and how the drinks are affordable. Wine went from $7 to $10. Ballast point went up a dollar to $8 but the menu reflects something totally different. This is no longer going to be the place to go to in Newport Beach. Food is good but not a place to buy drinks and more

Came to this place just before closing and were able to get some delicious food . Wish they didnt close that early since many customers kept coming , but where just turned away since they were closed already . The fries were delicious and super fresh, everything was perfect no added condiments needed for me . Cant wait to try more of their items oh and they got themselves a clean bathroom . Staff though had a little attitude when asking them about our order .

Ive been here a few times and Im always disappointed. The last time I went, they had run out of several ingredients for the sandwich that I ordered and made absolutely no effort to fix the situation. I ended up with only half of the ingredients on my sandwich. The food is high quality but its pricey for the small portion size. Youre better off spending your money somewhere else.

Randomly stopped in for a quick lunch... it was pretty busy & quite loud, perhaps because the NFL playoffs were on the TVs, and since its right on the boardwalk near the Newport Beach pier. Even though the place isnt very big inside, we still found a table. Our entire group enjoyed our various dishes, & I would go back again.

Stopped in for a drink during a walk around Newport. They advertised a new Pineapple Sculpin beer and had to stop in. The vibe is laid back and though o didnt get any food the plated which I saw being delivered looked great including the salads. There is a brunch menu available as well as an extensive coffee menu.

Endroit un peu bruyant mais super bien placé. Le poké bowl et le ahi poké sont un délice pour les amateurs de thon cru mariné

Kind staff, very good eggs benedict on a bagel. Also love the hot sauce variety! However, I do not enjoy the plastic cutlery. My plastic fork broke twice while using it, and got stuck in my food. It would also be more sustainable to just get metal cutlery.

Nice place with great food. Great place to go at night if you want a glass of wine in a quiet setting without music blaring like all the bars nearby. Theyre open later than 9pm. Fish is locally caught fresh.

We stoped in for lunch on vacation and had an amazing meal. The staff were friendly and helpful suggesting their favorites for our family... All of our meals were fantastic, even the kids Mac n cheese!

The boardwalk burrito was incredible. The crispy hashbrowns go well with the avocado. The kids also enjoyed the pb&j waffle as well as the chicken and waffles. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
