I Came here for lunch with coworkers not knowing what to expect. I order a chilli cheese burger with chilli on my fries and a iced tea. The tea just tasted like tea you can make a at home. The main course though... man... let me just say lunch was quiet. Three grown men eating Hamburgers and silence. That in itself is a testament to what good food can do to people. Service was great men/women here are polite and patient. Atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a diner. Chill, calm, and laid back. I definitely recommend this place to anybody that wants to try an oldie but goody.

For the most part, the food was good. The pancakes and french toast were delicious. The Greek omelette was fluffy and tasty. The biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak rocked my world. The server was great. The let down was the hashbrowns. They were a greasy mess. In fact, they had an "old oil" taste. I took a single bite and barely choked it down. Overall, a good place to eat, just be warned of the rancid tasting hashbrowns.

Really good food! I ordered the Blue Moon Burger. The waitress asked me how I would like my burger cooked. More often than not, it doesnt really matter what you ask for, you get the burger that they cook. But this time, the burger came exactly as I had ordered it. Nice surprise. Every time I come here, it reminds me that I dont come here often enough.

I, too, do not understand the lower ratings and frequent emptiness of this spot. While its a bit expensive for a "diner," Ive come to expect this in Los Gatos. Ive always had a very good experience here -- so I encourage folks to give this place a chance. The food is actually pretty good -- and where else can you get pie and ice cream in LG at 9:30 PM?

Excellent food, excellent service, and no frills atmosphere. It feels like I went back in time to the 1960s here, very friendly and comfortable aura about this place. I especially like the prices here, too. Nothing overblown or not worth the cost. Try the chicken fried steak and eggs. It will make you feel like home!

Ah, the classic burger, amid 1950s diner ambiance. Cant get enough of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe photos. I was so happy to remember my teenage years in the 1950s, but, alas, the saff didnt seem to understand. They were as sweet as could be though, making sure my boyfriend got latino food. Judy

Very good selection of dishes on their menu, typical Diner dishes, that are tasty, fresh, and well prepared. Just stay away from the pineapple milkshake, it wasnt that good, instead of using a syrup they use what appeared to be fresh pineapple that gave it a bitter taste,...pass on it!

Loved the first time about a month ago. Today, ordered a bacon with swiss and potato salad instead of fries. Received a burger with swiss (no bacon) and lots of fries (no potato salad). How do they repeat the order and bring it different. Tasted okay but not what I ordered.

I, too, am puzzled by low ratings and an almost always empty diner. The prices are a tad bit steep for a diner, but its Los Gatos and Ive come to expect this. The food has always been very good and the service top-notch. Give this place a chance -- its actually pretty good!

Fantastic eggs benedict!!! We go to Bills Cafe all the time and this has been the only other diner that has rivaled the taste and quality of Bills. Great spot and super cute! Always a nice experience.

I ate chicken and waffles here, the food tasted good. The restaurant didnt seem very clean or sanitary though, the county food facility inspection report is evidence of that.
