We go to Hong Kong Restaurant about once a week. This is a little family owned business - What one might call a hole in the wall. The food is EXCELLENT. It is made to order. Ive had several of their dishes; chow mein, chow fun, fried rice, fried shrimp, pan fried noodles, kung pao chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, wor wonton soup, hot and sour soup, egg flower soup, chop suey, broccoli beef, shrimp & snow peas. I highly recommend this place. If you come during the dinner rush you may have to wait a little while because the wife is the waitress/server and the husband does the cooking by himself, but it is well worth it.

Ive been here a couple times for lunch and havent been disappointed. First of all, you can order any dish with tofu instead of whatever meat its typically served with, which is great for me because I love tofu and it can be difficult to find vegetarian options sometimes. The Hot & Sour soup is delicious - the best Ive ever had! The cost is minimal, under $10 for soup, spring roll, and entrée. Ill definitely be going here again and recommend it to others who are looking for a quick, cheap, good lunch.

I come here very often with my friends and family and always introduce new people to it! It is my favorite restaurant in all of East Los Angeles and it is authentic! I very highly recommend coming here. The family who runs this business does a great job and offer such delicious quality food. I hope it is around for a very very long time.

In East LA this is my favorite Chinese food restaurant. Its a little hole in the wall with great service and delicious food. My personal favorites are chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp chop suey and the BBQ pork fried rice. Im here right now!

I love this place, food is wonderful. The one thing I love the most is its so family oriented. They have there children help out in taking orders and giving menus. Its so cute. They are the true meaning of a successful family. =)

Ive been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. My mom used to work down the street. The food is great. I would recommend Broccoli w/beef or shrimp, House chow mein, and the Orange Chicken. Even the soups are great.

Excellent family style restaurant and the food is absolutely amazing. I had the sweet and sour chicken, shanghai bok choy, beef chow fun, and hot and sour soup. I would definitely recommend this place.
