I have been coming here for years, and after today I will never be back. I came in for lunch and was seated immediately. Shortly after being seated a waiter came to our table and we all ordered. I asked if we could have crispy noodles and he told me no. I asked him how that was possible, and he said we dont. I then asked if he could check in back and he quickly rushed away from the table. Within moment he can back with the soup, and the noodles. The noodles were literally not cooked. They were just raw noodle. I asked him if he could cook them and he sighed and took the plate off the table. Im 5 minutes he returned with cooked noodles, and they were hot and fresh. Moment later he came back with our plates of food, and he literally slammed the plates on he table and food spilled onto the table. I asked him if I could speak to the manager, and he walked away. He reached the middle of the restaurant and yelled back, I am the manager duh. I actually laughed out loud. It was very odd. We all began discussing this rude behavior, and the customers near us were all coming to our table and laughing as well. The waiter saw this and was getting irritated I could tell. I took a picture of him to put on Yelp, and he rushed over and said "make sure you add my name, Im Nick" and he quickly walked off as he swung his hair back at me. I will not be returning to this restaurant! This place is a joke and their service is horrific. Read the other reviews.

Youll either really like it or think this place is mediocre. The food may taste good, but the customer service is horrid and the restaurant fails to care about its customers at all. With a restaurant where its employees do not care, I simply dont trust them with my food to begin with. I visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered the vegetable fried rice. Walking in there was no greeting. No smiling. Im vegetarian and clearly expressed this before the meal and to avoid meat products while cooking it. Later, I find pork in this rice and instead of being professional about the situation, the employee denies it and brushes it off saying comments like "oh the chef only adds a little bit". Eventually, the chefs peek out from the kitchen (no hair nets dressed in regular clothes) giving me unfavorable looks. No apology. No suggestion for another meal or discount. The waiter quickly places the bill on the table. No words out of his mouth. Customer service is a large part of running a business and without adequate customer service, its simply not worth visiting. I still enjoyed my time and the restrooms are nice (though a bit warm). Personally, I wont consider going back.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. First, the point: food is okay but the service is HORRIBLE! Like they want you to walk out horrible. Especially from male wait staff. Now the history: My family had been coming to this place for a long time. It used to be good. Good food, good price, and good service. Over the years the service went out the door followed by the price and the quality of food being its last victim. As long time customers, we have given it more than its fair share of second chances. Were done. Service is SO BAD! Most Wait staff are just miserable and dont care about what you want or need, they get to you on their time. Lunch shouldnt take 3hours when theres open tables. If You want to get your food thrown at you, and be ignored for some food you couldve gone to your local a la carte place have at it, not for me. Never Again.

Best Chinese restaurant in LA! 늦은 저녁시간 성룡의 Rush hour 촬영장소라고 해서 찾은 식당. 친절한 주인, 맛있는 음식, 착한 가격! LA 6일 있는 동안 3번 찾았습니다.. 3번 모두, lemon chicken, fried rice with shrimp, shrimp with hot source 주문했습니다. 점심, 이른 저녁, 저녁 식사가 가능합니다. 마지막에 주는 fortune cookie 도 즐거운 이벤트가 됩니다. 아마 또 LA에 온다면 다시 먹으러 올 것 같습니다. ㅎㅎ

Ive tried a lot of Chinese food and foo chow falls short of my expectations. I feel that the food being made resembles a home cooked recipe like their fried noodles. The sweet and sour porked we ordered was stale that it wasnt hot and fresh like we ordered it. Service was sporadic at times. Although Rush Hour was filmed at this location, the food here doesnt match its move star fame. If you want authentic Chinese food, my advice, look elsewhere.

Hate the service, they bring the drinks in cans and you would expect it to be cold but really just flat out warm. No waiters either just the owner taking orders. I really hated service and they really have to work on how they greet there customers and also they have poor attitude and finally I found a hair in my rice. I think that they filmed rush hour here there just taking it for granted and really I would change there letter into a C.

I was very pleased with Foo Chow! This was my first time in Chinatown and this restaurant lived up to all my expectations. I had the chicken chow mein, which was delicious and my boyfriend had sweet and sour chicken. All the portions were large and food was hot and flavorful. The only downside to my experience was that there was only one waitress in the whole place. We had to call them over if we needed a refill or anything.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles. The quality of food is consistent, generous portions. Busy on the weekends, so plan ahead. Usually order online and by the time of arrival, the order is ready to go; they are reaching for the order for us and adding a generous handful of fortune cookies. The decor is simple; definitely a look and feel of China.

Service was horrible, we had to ask for drinks after they took our order! Yes, we got cans but the table behind us got served sodas in cups n ice. Waiter was rude as heck.. , and took forever to bring our bill after asking because waiting on other tables I guess more important. Never will we eat there again.. Dont fall for the Rush Hour sign..

What a nice hidden gem of a restaurant. I had a velvet corn soup, an egg roll and a large portion of general tsaos chicken for only. 6.00. The quality of the food is very fresh. I had enough food for 2 people plus leftovers. The crab Rangoon is to die for. They also make an amazing pineapple coconut bubble tea. Foo-Chow lives up to

Horrible service. Had to reorder 3 times because they kept forgetting about my table. The host was very rude and can not take a single joke. No air conditioning. The food is decent but honestly the only thing that keeps this place open is the fact that it was used for Rush Hour. Not necessarily a pleasant place!

Had dinner here while visiting Chinatown. It was where Rush Hour was filmed, so we had to check it out. I would not go again though. I had the orange chicken, which was fried and hardly had any chicken in it. Once a couple minutes had passed, it seriously was extremely hard to chew, almost rock hard.
