Look out, Pizza Hut & Papa Johns! zpizza offers more upscale pizza pies w/o being expensive. Many options available to customize your pizza just the way you want it, including gluten-free. Located across the street from CSULB, zpizza has ample amount of seating for a quick lunch. If youre looking to kick things up a notch, pili pili oil, which is olive oil infused with red pepper, will help with that. Service has been good every time Ive happened to stop by. Ordering to eating takes around 10 minutes. If pizza isnt what youre in the mood for, sandwiches, flatbreads, pasta & wings can be ordered, instead. Also available are take n bake pizzas, pre-assembled & ready to take home to be popped in the oven. Parking is not a problem, shared by CVS, Cha for Tea, Wingstop & other businesses. On Jan 22nd I ordered a pizza to pick up. Told me it would be 30 mins. I came in on time and they hadnt even started the order yet. Left and came back 30 mins later AND they still hadnt started it. I could understand if they were busy but the place was empty and I didnt see a lot of orders pending. They seemed more interested about closing and going home but it was still an hour until the posted cloing time. The posted closing was 8 pm but as I am sitting here waiting at 7:30 they are telling callers they have closed the kitchen. If I owned this place I would fire the entire staff. Absolutely no customer service and no pride in doing a good job..

The only reason I give this place 4 stars / it really should be 5 stars for their food quality/, it is because the owner really should do something about interior, ambiance. It is very unassuming place, and always kind of dark inside. Otherwise, their pizzas are one of my favorite. I like every one of them. I also love pear and gorgonzola salad. They also have great specials. But next door to them is quite good Asian restaurant with much nicer and inviting décor.

I called the local store to deliver and they didnt have a delivery guy available I was told to call the 7th Street store when I did I got ran around even though I told him I was successful guy that was willing to tip and take care of them for the extra effort little disappointed when people dont know how to go all the way to take care of a customer no pizza no customer service no tip and now not a good review

Pizaa is great! Stopped in for 2 slices (nice and wam) with a drink...pepperoni and sausage is my favorite. They have some interesting options on the menu (thai pizza) I look forward to trying. Much better than pizza hut or dominos...tastes fresh and full of quality.

Kind of expensive, but if you want really tasty california-style pizza, this is the place to go. I would understand people complaining about the price of a pizza here, but I do -not- understand anyone complaining about the quality.

Apparently tomato sauce is an option on the pizza here, our vegi pie had none. Silly me for not asking. And cooking the crust must be an option too, ours was not cooked in the middle, very soggy. Maybe I expect too much.

Some of the best thin-crust pizza I have ever had. The crust is perfectly crunchy. I recommend the Caseblanca or Mushroom pizzas. Their pepperoni pizza is simple and delicious. Dont forget the red pepper oil!

I tried to redeem a coupon for a free pizza they said didnt expire but when i tried to use it they refused to honor it. After 2 years of buying pizza here I wont be back!
