Oh my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! I dont know why Ive never heard of this place but Im so glad I found it. Cute but small place. Luckily it wasnt too busy when we went. I ordered the "the burger" medium rare. Let me tell you this burger was pure heaven, cooked exactly how I wanted it, juicy, with so much flavor. The brioche bun was the perfect amount of toasty and the bacon just topped off the deliciousness that is this burger. The fries were literally the perfect fry, crunchy but soft in the middle. Finally to top it off I ordered the root beer float with the almond gelato and I regret nothing.SideYard Cafe Amazing! Great service, friendly staff and the perfect place to satisfy your burger cravings.

So bomb, and its right down the street from my dads house! Had the ABC omelette (with apple sausage instead of bacon) and a side of home fries. Definitely recommend that with a freshly squeezed apple-cucumber juice!

Well, Ive only been here once & I ordered a salad with only 7 ingredients and they left 1 out :( It was still good but I love cranberries & ordered it for that. I will give them another try for breakfast next time.

Cute cafe close to Cal State Long Beach!There is a great variety of food options and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning again soon with friends!

Smash n grab for a quick burger drop in and was pleased with the flavor and finish. Fries were good too! Ill have to stop by and try their fancy coffee some other time. Nice little dive spot.

No longer Daves but much, much better! Had a huge and amazing Chineese Chicken salad for a great price. Cant wait to try their pulled pork sandwich. Good prices and great staff!
