First and Foremost, dust the place and update the decor, for goodness sakes and turn the lights on so I can see. The food is very bland and not appealing at all. I ordered ribs as an appetizer and they bought out a plate of meat. I guess their version of ribs no bone, it didnt taste like rib meat to me. The shrimp fried rice I ordered was full of farmed shrimp or it was shrimp from a can, either way you needed a microscope to see the shrimp. I dont know how theyre stayed there as long as theyve have, Im guessing the people that frequent the place have never had "real" Chinese food.

The place always looks closed and I think Im the only one who eats there - everyone else seems to do takeout. Ambiance is lacking - the place looks old and tired. Service is OK as long as you dont mind limited English speakers with VERY thick accents. The pork fried rice is really great. Also, paper wrapped chicken is a decent chuck of chicken. A lot of places give you a pathetic scrap of meat inside that 400 degree aluminum foil. Prices are good, beverage selection is poor.

My husband and I are from the East coast and this is the ONLY Chinese place weve found. While it isnt the same in style or taste to NY Chinese food, its an awesome replacement. Dont let the empty dining room or the dated decor fool you. The food is great (the WonTon soup is amazing), the service is super friendly, and its all made to order. We love it!

5 stars just for the hot and sour soup. Its the best Ive had in California. Theyre fast here and reasonably priced for large portions. The restaurant itself isnt extravagant at all, very mom and pop, so I normally do carry-out here. But hey, they make great food.

My moms favorite place to eat..now its mines also....the food is done to order so guaranteed to be both hot and really good. I ordered the combo and individual it fed my 3 kids me my mom and brother for $30 dollars oh n boyfriend..the food is really good

Ive lived in long beach for over 10 years and never knew this place was actually open. One day my wife ordered food from there and when i tell u the food was amazing...i mean it was AMAZING..i love this place...im headed there now lol

One of the oldest restaurant in Long Beach, if you want REAL CHINESE FOOD this is the place to go, my parents went on dates here, I suggest you try it once to eat there to get the REAL EXPERIENCE, tea & Egg flower soup, cookies
