Smack pie is an innovative take on pizza. You can select a type of pizza they already have crafted like a BBQ chicken pizza, meat specialty, or even vegetarian pizza. OR you can be creative and make your own pizza. Pick your crust, and pick your toppings, meats, vegetables, fruit, theyll throw it on top and bake it. After 10-15 minutes, you can pick a drizzle topping like ranch, balsamic or something spicy. Smack pie is a popular restaurant and gets very busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of staff and all have been pretty friendly. Pricing is pretty reasonable for the value and the pizza is always good. Ive made custom pizzas as well as having one of their selections. Smack Pie is a nice specialty pizza place with a nice environment and located in beautiful downtown Lodi.

Absolutely fantastic value. Really high quality food, and the ability to walk alongside your pizza construction like you do at Subway or Chipotle is a welcome experience. Interacting with the pizza builders as they put together your pie just right is a new and welcome way to get your personal pizza just the way you want it. Decor is very clever and clean as well. I was impressed to find that this is a local owner-operated place, and not part of a larger chain or franchise operation. Pizza could easily be split by two people if you wanted an inexpensive date with plans to get dessert on the boulevard. Pizza crust was perfect.

We have been eating at Smack Pie ever since they opened. It is my favorite place to eat pizza. When the Farmers Market is going, we eat there almost every Thursday. The staff is always very courteous and helpful. Over the years there have been a few mistakes on our orders. We use the Leapset app to order online almost every time, and the quirks in the app have been the cause of the problems. Yet, I have always been pleased with the attention and speed which the problems were resolved. We would recommend Smack Pie to anyone looking for a good Pie.

This place is frickin awesome!!!! This is not some corporate schill. The people are real, the pizza is amazing, and the environment is bubbling and alive. Youve had pizza before but man this place really is unique. Come down on Thursdays during farmers market and grab a 64oz pitcher of corona for $15, grab a pizza at its golden. This place really adds life to the community. Awesome concept!!!

What a great way to eat a pizza! The experience is fantastic, the food is baked fresh in front of you, the ingredients are amazing and the price is perfect. You can buy a giant greasy pizza somewhere else, this is how pizza is supposed to be eaten! There may be a line, but the staff is helpful and nice. Honestly, I could eat here every day.

My family and I werent so crazy about thin crust pizza. That was until we ate at smack pie,it changed our whole view about the thin side. We crave this place all the time and if we were to eat at any other pizza place ,they dont even come close to S.P . It is always a good experience when we come here and we never leave unsatisfied!

Beyond expectations!!! Absolutely loved the pizza...the place is amazing inside, all the staff are super friendly, the ingredients are very fresh and the pizza is fire-roasted right in front of you! Try the finishing sauces too!! Phenomenal idea, great price, AMAZING food!!!! If I lived closer Id probably live here...

Well,, smack pie is a uniquely named pizzeria. Excellent and friendly waitress, excellent system of ingredient selection, excellent decor, ample seating, and patio area in front,,,with sun umbrellas. The pizza is fantastic, and very healthy, most of all (TASTY). The price is a winner as well =LIKED

Worst experience ever. The staff were extremely rude and messed up both of my pizzas and salads. They just kept on walking down the line ignoring me and putting toppings i didnt ask for on my food, and didnt acknowledge that i was trying to correct them. We will never come back.

When our pizza was served half the topping was missing. I was told "that happens". No offer to fix it. My little Grandson was very disappointed. It was an older blond lady which I believe is one of the owners. Very poor customer service.

This place is hit n miss. Tonight the pizza was great. The place was full and obnoxiously loud. They need to work on the acoustics to dumb down the sound. Great local wine list at reasonable price per glass. Overall...nice job.

They were not friendly at all. We got there 20 min till closing place was dirty and they would not take our order because they were closing in 20 min. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD EXPERIENCE.
