Ive been to many American Diners in my life and this one knocked my socks off. I cannot say one negative thing about this place. The food, service and price was phenomenal. I wish I wasnt just passing through on a road trip because if I lived closed by I think I could eat here every day of the week. The manager Toni and our waitress Renee provided great service and this was some of the best comfort American food Ive ever had! Definitely check this place out. I couldnt believe that it was $26 total for two people with dinners that included two sides and dessert! I made sure I left a nice tip because I loved this place so much.

I was really excited to try this place, unfortunately our visit left much to be desired. My husband and I both ordered the applewood bacon burger. Neither of us were impressed, it was just okay. The produce didnt seem fresh either. My son had the mac n cheese which was basically a boxed variety with shredded cheese sprinkled on top and it was cold. We felt that for the quality everything was overpriced. The positives include the service and our sides (fries and fruit) were pretty good. Overall, unimpressed and probably wont return.

Good home cooking. Friendly, competent staff. Daily specials. Senior menu! For small appetites, two can split a meal, separate plates served happily at no extra charge. There is a banquet room, seats maybe 30, which our Christian Motorcyclist Association group reserves every last Tuesday of each month. Dinner includes soup or salad, entrée, dinner rolls AND ICE CREAM dessert! There is not a bar. Has a wheelchair accessible bathroom. American flag. Adjacent parking lot on both sides of restaurant. THIS IS WHERE THE LOCALS EAT!!

Good food, but not spectacular. Vegetables were all overcooked, but main entrees were good. We were there at the tail end of lunch rush and didnt really get the attention we needed from our server. Got no refill on my drink until dessert, and had to ask for it. Server brought the check without asking about dessert, and we had to remind her that two of our dinners included dessert. Disappointing visit after reading most other reviews.

I was visiting from North Dakota on work, and we stopped by this restaurant for some breakfast. It felt right at home. I couldnt believe it. Dont get me wrong, but it was amazing to find something so close to home amongst this Californian blight. If the company ever sends me this way again, Im stopping here for breakfast. Thanks!

menu does not match the food they serve you ie. a french dip is sliced roast beef sandwich ( not a stew meat chunks ) thrown in a bun then sent to your table, really sad that a restaurant that has been in Lodi for so long dont know how to make a PROPER French dip :(

I read the review from the guy whining that the food tasted like it was from a "rest home". Having never eaten at a rest home, like that reviewer, I can just say the food was enjoyed by our entire family... with not one senior citizen among us.

Love it !! good food good service fiftys diner atmosphere. And decor Good folks shack bar corned beef and hash was on top booths tables or breakfast lunch or dinner they dont have places like this around anymore

The food was really good, to the last bite. Cant say the same for the service, the waitress never came back around until bill was due. Had to ask other servers for refills on drinks, and seats were really dirty.

Restaraunt was very clean, but food wasnt good! I ordered a California Club that was suppose to be a grilled chicken breast, but instead it was a thin, dry piece of meat that wasnt eatable.
