The reviewers showing photos and giving the high reviews for Subway, have mistaken this one in Lake Isabella, for the new one in Wofford Heights. The Subway in W.H. is located inside the Chevron convenience market & gas station. The Subway here in Lake Isabella is the anchor eatery, Little Caesars is at the other end and a Taco Del Mar between them. Theres also a car wash on the other side of Little Caesars. Having clarified the different Subways...the one in Lake Isabella (L.I.) is not like the one in Wofford Heights (W.H.) The one in W.H. is worthy of 4 or 5 stars, friendly service, no shortchanging one on the Subs ingredients. The one in Lake Isabella, which these reviews are supposed rate, are the ones with the very low rating. Ive never been to a fast food, especially for Sub sandwiches, where the owner/manager watches over the staff like a hawk, and takes delight in doling out the smallest stingiest sized toppings Ive ever encountered! Bah humbug!! Also, the rudeness of the staff- mostly the owners, leave a lot to be desired....Grrrr

I had a lovely lady help me the first time so I went back. However, the second time I was there, a different woman up seller me things in my sandwich without informing me it would be more. Then, the owner rang me up. (The owner is the only one to ring people up, and I know why.) He charged me for everything and more. He over charged me, and then before I paid I asked him what my sandwich was (without the cookie) and he couldnt tell me. Then I asked again to tell me why it was so much, and he reluctantly told me how he charged me double for meat and cheese... unbelieveable. After I paid, he did not offer me a recipet. (Both times I was there he did not offer.) I asked for my receipt, and he gave me the one that only shows the total. I asked for the itemized recipes and he scoffed. The whole situation was ridiculous. I dont except much from a Subway, but maybe make it clear about my payment. I would not recommend this place.. if you are hiking the PCT like I was, youre better off walking farther to pay much less for much more!

This the worst subway by far. They put very little topping on your sandwich and charge extra for just about everything. The breakfasts are even worse. I am amazed the corporate office allows this franchise to operate the way it dose.

This is a great Subway! The service is wonderful and the my sandwiches are always very tasty and made just the way I like them. The staff and managers treat me and other customers very well. I will continue to buy my lunch here.

Given 1 star but they dont even deserve that lol...Very rude customer service! Definitely will not be coming back here. If you would like to be rushed and given uncomfortable dirty looks this is the place.

Worst subway ever. They are so stingy with toppings. They put them on so sparse and spread out and wont give you extra, not even a little when you ask. They only let you have one napkin per order. Like WTF
