They use to have the best food in the valley but the new el Rio.in lake Isabella has gotton really bad the last to times I have eaten there the steak was so dry and hard it looked like it had been sitting around for days it was bad what ever you do dont carry out and the service sucks no one there but they were busy for the prices.they need to get it together

Very good authentic Mexican food here. Had the chile verde burrito, and the steak Ranchero. Both were very very good service was very good ambiance is average. A good stop if you like authentic well-prepared prepared Mexican food.

El Rio has the best food in the KRV ! Their Carne Asada taco is the best is the state of California bar none ! My wife and I eat there every week and the food is always good. Would recommend to all my friends

Amazing little gem. Ate here after a day at the river. Had there chicken fajita special for 15 bucks. So much good two of us couldnt finish it.

Great chips and homemade salsa. Big tasty carnitas chimichanga, and nice waitress Dena. Eat here then go for a walk along the river.
