I love this place. Its very cozy inside with nice art work on the walls. The seating is very comfortable, although I wish there was a little more space inside. On a nice day or night they have seating outside as well. Their menu looks nice with many options. I watched them making crepes while I waited in line. They looked delicious! I ordered a large americano with a slice of chocolate cake. My drink came in a really nice ceramic cup and tasted phenomenal. To me, theyre bean selection is of really good quality. The slice of chocolate cake was rich and flavorful and complimented my drink. The service was outstanding and helped round out my experience as a great first time that will have me be a repeat customer. Its location is great since its downtown next to the theatre and many restaurants. This place is a great way to start or end your day!

I have had a few desserts and a croissant here. I really like the cozy, coffee house atmosphere with somewhat of a modern vibe (large LCD screens) and carpet, even though my artist wife points out that the decor is really random. True. Random vintage clothes on a wall (the first time I was there), swirly white things hanging from on high. But, I like the feel. The outside seating is nice too: enclosed with well maintained tables/chairs and fresh flowers. Food is decent and the staff was friendly. Been here 2 times. A bit pricey in my opinion.

I love finding these gems in downtown Hayward. Eko Coffee Bar is such a nice place to just sit down and enjoy a crepe with a friend. You can study or hang out or really.. just eat lol. They dont have many tables so I wouldnt bring a huge group though. Its a quiet atmosphere with big windows so you can definitely get some focus and work done too. Their smores crepe was so good but I definitely couldnt finish that on my own. So much sugar. Its perfect to share. Ill have to come back to try more things on the menu!

The food is good but Ive been here a couple of times, and have overheard one of the employees being really rude to one of the cashiers who was wearing glasses. Im not sure what here name is. Its really unprofessional of her part. She asked her a simple question, and she responded with, dont you have a brain to do so? And I think shes a manager which makes the situation worse. The place is nice but its a shame that the employees play a big role in the atmosphere. Other than that the place is very up to par.

Passing through Hayward we stopped at Eko on a whim. I ordered the Miel (espresso, honey, milk froth and whip cream) from their Eko exclusive menu. Its heaven in a cup. Simply delicious from the first to last drop. It was at perfect temperature as well. If Im ever in Hayward again (Im from San Diego) Ill be sure to stop here. Thank you ladies!

Drinks are wonderful but crepes need work! They were soggy/not completely cooked and the fruit was mushy/falling apart. The whipped cream was the best part. I did enjoy my mocha as well as a black tea though. Cute and quiet place to hang out and read a little.
